Customer Reviews

All Time Favorites Rose Mister Lincoln is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite flower I received a tree version of this rose as a gift from my (now-ex) husband. I owned it for 10+ years, and REALLY wanted to dig it up and transport it with me, when I had to move from the house, where we resided. It produces long-stemmed roses that are fantastic for cutting - whether a single rose in a bud vase, or as part of a larger arrangement. The fragrance of this particular variety is enveloping of your senses, if you appreciate a fragrant rose. I look forward to again owning another plant, which I can enjoy to its fullest. If you're on the fence about this purchase, take the plunge; you WILL NOT regret it, and you will be the envy of all of your friends and neighbors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My Mr. Lincoln Of the 20 roses in my garden, Mr. Lincoln tops the list of favorites. The deep red buds are so beautiful that it is hard to resist cutting them and taking them in the house before they open so that I can see them more hours of the day. When they are open, the sweet, delicate fragrance is exactly what I think a rose should smell like, and a bouquet in the house fills the room with this lovely fragrance. My Mr. Lincoln is a very healthy, hardy busy and will grow to as much as 8 ft. tall if I don't keep it trimmed back. It produces numerous stems of single blossoms and always brings comments from visitors. I would definitely recommend this rose to anyone who loves a beautiful, fragrant red rose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased The 6 roses I ordered arrived promptly, they were shipped in a dormant state. Although in a dormant state, each was in excellent condition, good size plants with great root structure and packaged very well. It has been about a week since I planted them, each one is doing well with new growth. I'm very pleased with the purchase, I couldn't be happier with the overall purchase and product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like finding an old friend! I was looking for this rose variety for a Valentines Day gift, but couldn't find it at any of the local home stores and nurseries. Luckily, I tried Home Depot online where I found it available in dormant form. I ordered two and they were shipped from a grower in or near my climate zone. After planting, they perked right up and we're looking forward to beautiful blooms!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best rose I've had This rose, when pruned and cared for properly is extremely resilient and blooms beautifully. The only downside, it seems, is they bloom almost too quickly! One day they're a bud and the next they're in full bloom and then dead(unless picked prior). Other than my lack of attention to their blooming cycle, this rose is gorgeous and fragrant and makes for a great gift. I highly recommend.
