I received the root stock about 4 weeks ago and planted the day of arrival according to the easy to follow instructions. I was hesitant to purchase due to not having very good luck with roses to begin with. The root stock started to produce leaves with in about a week and a half. We got our 1st rose with in the first 3 weeks. Today 4 weeks after planting my rose plants they stand about 14 inches high filling out nicely with lush green leaves and have about a dozen buds and roses between the 2 of them! I could not be happier with them!

I got the pink knock out on clearance sale and it has been growing very fast since then .Very happy with the purchase as there are so many lovely blooms within the first 1-2 months . The plant was looking dry when I purchased it but quickly turned very healthy after transplanting into soil , did not need any major care except watering 2-3 times during the first couple of weeks .

I am known in my family as a plant assassin. I once killed a cactus because I forgot I had one. I had pretty much given up hope of being able to keep any green-life alive.
Last spring, a sympathetic friend recommended that I try planting Knockout Roses in my woefully barren and heavily weeded front "garden". I purchased two of these pretty, bright magenta rose plants at Home Depot and clumsily planted them in the hard, clay-like, gravelly soil, assuming that I would, once again, be hosting a plant funeral in a few months.
Then we experienced a month of 100F plus temperature, during which I watered the roses exactly once. Surprisingly, though there were not that many blooms last summer, the plants survived. This spring, I counted over 100 blooms on the two, three foot high plants. I am shocked. They are not just alive, but thriving despite the poor soil and gardener neglect.
I highly, highly recommend this plant. No matter who you are, you can have gorgeous roses in your yard. So happy to see them each day.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GardenStateGardener So far, so good.
I ordered two twin packs these roses, and they came in boxes from a nursery in Texas to my home in New Jersey. They came with six inch stems devoid of leaves, and packed in plastic bags with moistened paper wrappers around the roots and peat. Most of the inner paper root wrappers were kind of dry by the time they arrived, but I followed the directions and soaked the bare roots in a bucket before planting. I planted all the plants about two weeks ago (mid-May), and each of them are now sprouting leaves and appear that they have established themselves in their new home. I think the plants were a bit bigger than what you would find at the brick and mortar store for the same price, but it will take a while to see. All told, I'm happy with this purchase and hope to be rewarded with pink rose blooms before the summer is over.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mandyjo123 KNOCKOUT ROSE REVIEW.FOR A NON-GREENTHUMB
This review is for any NON-GREEN THUMB gardener that knows little about planting and growing. If you are looking for a BEAUTIFUL, COLORFUL, BLOOMING flower/rose, I suggest these knockout roses. I purchased my first 3 gallon bucket six years ago to border a small white picket fence along the driveway. The reason was that water was a problem reaching the end of our long driveway, and a BHG article suggested these plants. They are superb at growing in Zone 8 (Alabama), take very little maintenance after planting, and produce GORGEOUS BLOOMS almost year-round in our area. Each year the plants produce more flowers from the year before, and they grow so pretty with all the colors to choose from, and are great coverage around the fence line and up around the house. They are the ONLY plant I personally have planted that has truly thrived without dying on me or having to treat them for "pests." Try one and you will buy more, I promise.

2 year field grown. Hard to find anywhere else. Pretty good root system - I have had them in the ground a week and they are growing really well. Can't wait to see them in bloom.
