A new and distinct variety of Hybrid Tea rose plant is provided having double flowers of original currant red color, very even, without the white veins. The seed parent of the new variety resulted from the pollination of the variety Mr. Lincoln by the variety Meiluminac. The male parent of the new variety was the variety Karl Herbst. The new variety is particularly suited for use in the beautification of parks and gardens. A portion for the sale will benefit the Rotary Foundation. T he mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.
