Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tulip Love this grabber!
My husband had major back surgery and now has two 10 inch titanium rods in his back so his days of bending are gone. This grabber allows him to reach objects that he otherwise would not be able to get. He uses it for reaching overhead objects as well. It allows him to be less dependent upon others for the most basic tasks.

Been looking for YEAR'S for a suitable replacement to a Reacher/Retriever's from years ago. Nothing on the market with all the same features until now... PLUS this Reacher has every tweak and improvement imaginable.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hammer Hard to squeeze
I have MS and loss the use of my right hand so using my left it's kind of hard to squeeze to pick up items. I would recommend this item to someone who doesn't have an illness -- but if you do you'd be very frustrated.

We have 5 of these of which 4 have been purchased at Home Depot in the last year at half the price of the original one. The original one was purchased about 12 years ago from an chain drug store (on line). If you have trouble bending over to pick something from the floor, you will enjoy having one of these reachers close by. We even have one outside that we use for picking up twigs and small limbs to go in the recycle trash can.
