Answer:
Home Depot will cut it for you, just be sure they use the right saw. I didn't know that MDF needs a special blade, and they chip out horrible my board.

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hard to work with There are not enough 4-letter words to use when describing how frustrating this material is to work with. Unless you are an octopus with clamps for extra limbs you can be guaranteed to deal with fracturing, disintegrating, heavy, expensive, unforgiving boards. I would take it all back except I have already damaged most of the boards trying to put shelves together. I have had to rig this project making it ugly and not as stable as I would like. DO NOT BUY!!! July 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Melamine Shelving I deceided to build an entertainment center for my grandson's bedroom using 16" wide melamine shelving. It turned out pretty good as long as you have the right tools. I used 12" long wall brackets secured to the walls and 2" long finishing screws for the sides January 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unfinished edges on wider boards. Rolls of 3/4-inch wide iron-on melamine tape can be used to finish raw edges of the press board; especially useful if you have to rip wider pieces into strips for narrower shelves. September 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It's not a top-quality shelf, but it's a shelf I ordered two of these. They were both 97". As others have noted, strangely the ends are bare particle board. I taped the boards with two full wraps of masking tape, but still had to cut VERY slowly (with a Freud blade!) to minimize chip-out. There are some slight imperfections in the skinny melamine sections (corners sticking out a bit, etc.) but for garage shelves it'll do the job. I ended up painting the bare sides so they didn't look so goofy. June 9, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not 97 inches long I don't usually get on and give negative reviews, but I bought this needing to put some shelves in my boys' closet. I needed exactly 8'-1" or the 97 inches as advertised to make 4 shelves of 24 1/4 inches each. After I cut my first shelf, I measured the remaining piece and was shocked to realize there wasn't enough left for my shelves. After a little math and measuring another "97 inch" shelf I had bought, I learned the shelf was really 95 1/2 inches long to start with. I was more than a little upset but managed to finish the shelves with extra large gaps at each side. If you need less than the 95 1/2 inches, the board is fine, but don't buy thinking you're getting the full 97. February 1, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No finished "front" side I just bought this in store, as well as the 24" width, and had them both cut into several shelves. The s4" has one long, finished edge, as most shelving boards of this nature do. I assumed the 15-3/4" did as well, but when loading into my car I found that it does not. NOt a HUGE deal, as these are going into a pantry and bathroom closet, but just another thing to slow me down in the process! I don't understand why this width wouldn't have the finished side. It also doesn't cut smoothly at the store, so if you want nicely finished edges, bring it home and tape your lines before you cut it. September 20, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by They're like Goonies "Don't get em wet." Nice looking, long, inexpensive white shelf to replace the same exact product being used to store things in my garage. Works good as long as it stays dry. It got wet.... warped and buckled and failed under load. Like I said. Nice shelf. Just keep it dry. October 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Served my needs perfectly I wanted to create a "shelf" between two plastic rolling bins. This served the purpose plus ended up being the correct height to turn into a second work space in my home office. March 22, 2013
