Rated 1 out of 5Â by DIYuser Leak and would not completely close after 6 month.
Thinking a $5 nozzle would be better than the $1, I was wrong.
In terms of "hand held" quality, it is. However, the fundamental problem is the same for this design and the cheaper one. It leaks on the adjustment section, and it won't completely close after releasing the handle. Even if you push it back. It only last for 6 month.
Don't count on the lifetime warranty, please. It requires you to mail back the defective one. I understand their concept and procedures. It mainly prevent people for cheating on warranty. However, the shipping cost to ship back is about the same if not more than buying a new one......
just go to local bargain stores and get a cheap for $1 or 2...

Leaks around adjustment head. Ok product if you like getting wet. If I were a store manager, I would not stock this product.. Do away with Melnor products...

I bought this nozzle sprayer less than a year ago and after relatively infrequent use water came gushing out of the sides of the nozzle head. Had similar situation happen with previous Melnor nozzles, so I am calling it quits altogether with Melnor products.

Rubbish. Complete rubbish. 3 weeks old, and the thin metal casting for the handle pivot crumbled. Did children design these products? Tell your purchasing department to avoid these turkeys!

I used this spray head daily to clean up the bathing area after my ducks---I need the multiple water jet options. After a couple months, I felt and heard a "pop" in the device, and thereafter it would not shut off the water stream, but continued to deliver water at about a third of the fully open rate. When I pulled it apart to try to determine if a seal had dislodged or gone bad, the whole thing would not go back together as before. Piece of junk, typical of no service oriented daily use investigation by the maker.
