The spray patterns are the best I have seen on a garden wand, however, due to the poor construction of this item I would not recommend this to anyone. I went through 4 of these in less than 6 months. There is an internal plastic part at the base that cracks very easily, then leaks a lot of water the entire time it's being used. It can even totally snap off while in use. If you NEVER take the wand off a hose once it is connected, it might last several months. If of any reason you want to say, switch to a sprinkler on the same hose it may last as little as a couple of weeks.
I uploaded a picture showing exactly what happens.
I would truly like Home Depot to stop carrying this item. Perhaps the manufacturer will start considering quality.

Bought it yesterday. Tuned it on just now and the head came off. What a lousy product. Will be returning tomorrow.

I've bought 3 of these things in the last 2 years. I thought maybe I'm just getting an 'outlyer' and the next one will be fine (a bad assumption on my part). They all seem to get a leak at the junction between the plastic handle and the hose attachment where the little metal guard ( i.e where you attach your garden hose to the unit) ans spray water all over you when you're trying to use this thing.
I've never had a single one work more than a couple of months (in one instance even much less). I use several of the slightly cheaper (on & off valve) units the depot sells which don't seem to spray me.
This is a bad product.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by mccarpau works great, but short on quality
the rotating head had a very fine mister, which I needed. It stopped working in 3 weeks. Other than that, the watering wand worked great. Now, after 4 weeks rotating the wand head to other settings became harder with the plastic-to-clastic contact binding and grinding...we'll see how much longer it will last.

When we first got it, my wife and I were delighted with the wand. It was exactly what we wanted. However, in less than a year, the plastic threads on the water pressure assembly wore out. When we apply water pressure, the water adjustment dial shoots off and water sprays everywhere. I tried to fix it, but the threads are worn to the point that they won't stay together under pressure. I'll be looking elsewhere for a higher-quality version of this wand from a different manufacturer.

I love using a wand to water my outdoor plants. This wand works well. It has a nice variation of spray options and an adjustment for the strength of water flow, so I can water tender plants safely. It is comfortable to use too.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by David tilting wand is great feature.
With it's tilting wand and 2 ways to cut off the water flow, it makes for an easy to control watering tool. It extends your reach to be able to reach those high hanging baskets and to rinse the top of the SUV. Love it. Only wish the compression screw that holds the wand to the handle was made of metal to make it more durable.
