Customer Reviews

Front Trigger Pattern Aqua Gun-DISCONTINUED is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really good, but... From a design standpoint this is the best nozzle I've ever used. You can drag it across the yard and it doesn't snag on anything, the pattern selector is good, and the pistol grip control is really easy to work. That being said, I seem to break a lot of these. Not sure why but they last about a season and that's it. However, Melnor customer service is the best around and I'll send them a description and picture of the problem and they get me a new nozzle right away. So they get 5-stars for design and function, 2-stars for quality of manufacture, and 5-stars for customer support.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good sprayer Typical spray head options, but the trigger with the lock make this sprayer. Everything is so much easier with the lock.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Had promise, but leaks and underwhelming performance. This gun feels great in the hand, and the trigger and lock mechanisms are easy to use. It's a bit more comfortable than the classic rear trigger guns. The spray mode selector engages each mode with a very positive click, and the dial feels solid - a good sign. The spray patterns are pretty good, except the Shower mode, which doesn't spray nearly as far as a similar but cheaply made generic gun at half the price. This gun seems to have more streams in Shower mode, but only sprays about 2/3 as far, not good. That's the mode I use by far more than any others. The Jet mode is not very concentrated - it's pretty much the same as Full mode - again, much worse than the half price gun I already had, whose Jet mode is like a laser by comparison. I like the thumb lever to control the flow rate - it feels solid and is a nice thumb rest. There's just one problem - when you turn it all the way down (it is not an OFF position - just low) - the handle leaks badly. It leaks around the discs holding the flow lever to the handle, and leaks even more through the trigger/lock buttons! I'd love to see a picture of the guts on this gun to explain how this is even possible. I'm taking it back to the store and looking for something else. I suppose it could be an isolated incident, but I doubt it. When you shake the gun, something inside rattles - and every one at the store did the same thing.
