The title says 3600 Sq feet sprinkler, The product overview says 3,900 sq. ft. Turbo Oscillating Sprinkler.
Why?
Actually none of these are right. I can actually get only about 400 Sq feet max; why?

If I made a purchase and did not get what the manufacturer claims I always return it and try something else. Whether it is a sprinkler or any product I purchase. I try to make sure the problem is not on my end first.

That's funny, I don't know how they come to that calculations. The unit that I purchased only provided about 600 sq ft. This would be something that you can contact the manufacturing company about.

In the US, household water pressure ranges from 40-75 psi. People with wells, or in trailer parks have something closer to 40. I imagine they tested the product at the maximum pressure so they could claim the hire number.

Answer:
The coverage depends upon the water pressure supplied to the sprinkler. Often wells like mine are set to 30PSI, so I never get the advertised coverage. Another factor is the length of hoses. Don't use a hose longer than needed. Use a hose with the largest bore possible, skinny (or kinked) hoses cause pressure drop. Don't try to water too many things at the same time.

Indeed, the description says 3600 and the box says 'up to 3900' and I can say that neither are attainable.
With good water pressure, I am covering 50‘ by 55' which is 2750 sq. ft.

Hi DBZ,
The small yellow plug at the end of the barrel, opposite from the hose connection, contains a pick tool that will clean out clogged nozzles. Unscrew the plug to remove it, pick the nozzles clean, turn on the hose to the sprinkler before you replace the pick tool to flush out the clog matter.
Place the pick tool back in the end to use the sprinkler.

Answer:
Yes the 360M should have full range from left to right. The oscillation can be controlled by moving the yellow angle adjusters located on the coupling end of the sprinkler. Moving the adjusters further apart gives you a wider left to right watering and moving them closer together narrows the oscillation.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by zero stars was not an option I bought this today and right out of the box it doesn't oscillate. It goes halfway and then stops. I wasted my time buying this September 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Solid, metal construction This sprinkler is an above average, typical oscillating sprinkler. It is well built and should last quite a while, unless you have kids that run through the sprinkler. If that is the case then it will be broken in less than one day, like anything else that kids get around. But back to the features... On the inlet side it has a removable sieve (screen/filter) that can be cleaned if its gets grass, pebbles, or hair (?) in there somehow. On the opposite end there is a removable plug that can be used to clean out the nozzles of the sprinkler. I love this feature as occasionally some small object manages to obstruct one or more of the nozzles. On the inlet side there are two yellow tabs that are used to adjust the range of the sprinkler. I also love these things as compared to the old style where you use all you strength to turn a plastic dial & end up hurting yourself in the process. But I digress... these tabs can be adjusted to almost any range you want. They are really great! This product is made in Taiwan. August 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Parts or a great Sprinkler. I had two of these sprinklers for 3-4 years. Excellent and simple as c*^p to use. It's light weight allows it to glide across the lawn when pulled to another location. Love the coverage and the low jet height preventing change of direction due to wind. Can't find a replacement so parts are in order. August 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Sprinkler, Metal, Good Coverage This sprinkler is made of aluminium and plastic. Feels pretty solid and works like it should. Out of the box it needs a little assembly, very easy. It has two setting knobs to set how far in each direction you would like the water to spray. These work very well. Rather than just having small homes for the water to spray out this has many little brass inserts. The inserts let out a nice even stream of water that goes in the direction it's supposed to, not all over you. The screw on fitting is enlarged and it very easy to attach to the hose. There is a screen inside of the hose attachment to prevent objects from getting inside. This also comes apart for easy cleaning if anything does get inside the sprinkler. My only complaint is that this is made for a large coverage area. when running this at a lower pressure it does not always oscillate. When I use this in a smaller part of my yard with the water down to half it isn't quite enough pressure to make this function properly. At full pressure this sprinkler has some serious coverage. September 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High quality sprinkler - will last many seasons The 3600 sq. ft. Premium Metal Oscillating Sprinkler is a high quality sprinkler that will last many seasons. The metal wont easily break or malfunction like plastic-made sprinklers. We were looking for a sprinkler that will last many summers and this one will do the trick. It is very easy to handle/hook up to hose, isn't very heavy, and is easy to control spray distance/angle July 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Premium Metal Oscillating Sprinkler The Melnor Premium metal turbo oscillating sprinkler covers up to 3900 sq. ft. The 18 brass precision nozzles safeguard even watering. There is a turbo drive motor on the sprinkler for extra-long life. Range control adjusters go from narrow, half and full. The sprinkler has a heavy duty aluminum construction and offers a lifetime manufacturer warranty. This is one of the best watering sprinklers I have ever had, most sprinklers are not this sturdy and definitely don’t have such an even spray. I am in the process of making a new flower bed and this sprinkler is definitely sturdy enough to handle the job. May 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality sprinkler! Easy to use. The sturdy metal sprinkler with 18 brass nozzles is well made. It is not heavy but the additional weight of the metal helps keeps it in place much better than lightweight plastic ones. The variable range/sweep adjustment is very easy to use. I like it better than any I have used in the past. The full range of the sweep covers 3900 sq.ft. The hose connector is of good quality. It has a lifetime manufacturer's warranty. Made in Taiwan. June 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Sprinkler This sprinkler is by far the best one I have purchased. This one covers a huge area and is super quiet. The sprinkler also comes with a strainer to prevent grime from getting stuck in the nozzles. The sprinkler also has a tool to clear out any plugged nozzles. Very nice sprinkler for single family homes. As you can see in the pictures, I am able to cover my entire front yard using the sprinkler. This means I can cover the front and back with only changing it twice a day! June 21, 2016
