Answer:
Yes, but it will take a lot of water and water pressure to force the water through. I think iit would defiinitely work though, because there is an opening on both sides, one with a twist off cap.

Answer:
Hi Kim,
Remove the cap from the back side of the sprinkler to attach another hose to run additional sprinklers. Standard hoses will fit.
Keep in mind that as additional sprinklers are added in succession, water pressure will be compromised, limiting the total number of sprinklers that can be used at once.
These sprinklers are among the best candidates for running in succession.

Is there an issue connecting multiple hoses together? Are the connections standard sizing for standard garden hoses?

Square Pattern Sprinkler is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shame this had to be special ordered... should be in stock all the time Sprinkler has been a lifetime favorite, ideal for small sections of yard or just getting the corners.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Value This sprinkler covers about a 30 foot diameter at about an inch of water per hour with our local water pressure. This coverage is twice as fast and more complete than my current oscillating sprinkler. It also takes slightly lessl time and much less hassle than using smaller spot sprinklers. (The spot sprinklers drop twice as much water per minute, but over just an 18 foot diameter. I have to use spot sprinklers in six different places to cover my 50 X 26 front lawn, versus just two places for this spinning sprinkler.) The big drawback is that these spinning sprinklers last only about a single watering season (eight months) before the top breaks off. Oscillating sprinklers can last for decades, and spot sprinklers can last forever (no moving parts). Depending upon the size of your lawn, this type of sprinkler may be the most convenient despite the very poor lifespan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and works great puts alot of water in the specific area you need it...I dont have to let it run for hours. Covers a bigger size area than I expected it to. Works great. I bought two.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheep The top flew off after just one hour. I took it back to Home Depot and bought a different kind

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not effective in series Ran 4 in series. Our household water pressure was set as high as it could safely go. Got maybe a 6-ft spread with 1st sprinkler. The rest in series were maybe a 1-ft spread. Reduced it down to 2 in series and was able to get a 3-ft spread out of 2nd sprinkler in series while the 1st one remained the same. Did not perform as expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replace same product that broke The sprinkler did the job needed, but is a bit fragle. It broke when dropped.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This sprinkler does its job. This sprinkler does its job. I have a townhome with a rectangle front yard. The sprinkler sprays in a square radius with only one setting. I have to keep the water level down so it wont go get out into the neighbors yard or sidewalk.
Date published: 2013-05-21
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good as a single unit If using one or two this is a sufficient sprinkler, but if you start putting a few of them in a row the pressure drop is so much that they don't even spin the little wheel. Since they're made to be put in series they should tell you what the pressure/volume requirements are to maintain the proper sprinkle pattern.
