Redwood is the natural choice for fences, decks and many other outdoor projects. Quality fences and decks demand materials that are beautiful and long lasting. Redwood fits the bill. Handsome redwood fence boards are available in different styles, as well as pre-built fence panels. Known for its natural beauty and ability to hold up under the sun, rain and snow, redwood is the pro builders first choice. Use in Above Ground Applications.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by This is what I should have bought the first time, not that pressure wet treated junk. Not too full of knots, but the wood is slightly warped & cupped. I need to slide a new sill plate under a load bearing wall that has ceramic tile & a mud job on the opposite side. I went to the 6 foot length & the wood is flat enough to slide under the studs with minimal upward jacking on the wall. I pretreated the wood with Boracare with Mold Guard & racked it so it would not warp. Remember to cut your old sill at a 45 degree angle so you can swing the new piece in! If your are framing a plumbing wall, near a bath tub or bathroom stainless steel screws are not a bad idea for the sill plate to stud fastener. Safe & happy building everyone! May 31, 2014
