I ordered this product sight-unseen from the internet for a faux fireplace surround I was constructing. I wanted shades of gray and orangish-brown to coordinate with the brick that was already in place. The tile was a good match to the picture on the website. The cutting of this tile is tricky because the edges are wavy and it is a thick tile. The rocky-appearance is aided by the wavy edges, however. I used sandy beige grout by Lacrete and a 1/8" grout line. All my tiles (1 box) arrived intact and very well-packaged. This is despite the fact I saw the delivery man kicking the box. I would definitely use this tile again in the appropriate situation.

We wanted a different look to our ceramic tile shower. What we got was better than we imagined. Tile was easy to work with. Went pretty quick. The grout is earth 105 sanded. It blends in real nice with the tile. Very pleased with the look of the shower!

I used these tiles to cover an ugly outside retaining wall. I was looking for something that would give the illusion that the wall was made out of stone not cement blocks. These tiles were easy to cut and the grooved edges make it almost impossible to tell the seams from the fake lines in the tile unless you know what to look for. This came out so good that I am going to do my entire foundation with them in the Spring. Since no one will be walking on them, I didn't even have to give 100% coverage with the thinset.
FYI: All 4 sides of these tiles will fit together no matter how you orient them but it might look odd if you mix them vertically and horizontally.

We chose this tile because of the wavy edges. We did not want straight, obvious grout lines in our faux stone fireplace surround. Well it worked out beautifully!
The wavy edges on this tile add a bit of complication for the installer (our son) because measuring fit was a little different than straight-edge tile. We adjusted placement so that a cut (straight) edge was always at the outside of the project. I would suggest also taking care to rotate for tile "rock" pattern variety when figuring placement.
We are very pleased with the look of this tile, and it is nice to work with. It cuts and installs quickly. I would highly recommend this product.

These really enhanced the appearance on the front of the house. I have only had these up for 3 wks and have got lots of comments on how well they look and how they changed the appearance on the front. They are easy to install. Once got the first row set and level, the rest went up quickly as they are 17 3/4" ea. When used with the Mushroom grout, you can't even tell where the seams were. After completing the installation, I sealed the tiles and grout with a good sealer.

I had this tile shipped to store, it arrived well packaged and undamaged. Now that I have tiled our small entry floor with it, I wish I had tiled other rooms in the house with the same product. It is described as an exterior grade tile, so we may install it on our outdoor patio floors.
A little trickier to install than square tiles, but like any home project, it will go smooth if you think your way through the project and don't rush it. Allow plenty for waste as you will be making cuts at every wall, doorway, etc. The tile edges are a wavy interlocking pattern.
This photo shows the installation just after grout, prior to sealing. Be sure to mask carpet, trim and baseboard before installing the tile. The tile cut easily with a tile saw rented from Home Depot.

Installed this ceramic tile in our 20' X45' 'den'. Once you figure out how to measure the scalloped edges for any straight cuts, it's very easy to install. Cuts perfect with wet tile saw. Tiles lay easily.
There is actually a 7 tile pattern but I did not use it, I just randomly placed tiles against each other in a pleasing arrangement to me. Unless you know what you are looking for, you can not tell where the tiles meet each other. It is almost a seamless looking stone floor.
I also grouted the indented or grooved spaces between all the individual 'stones' but is not necessary to do so, but I wanted more of the 'mosaic' look. (The grooves are large/deep enough to hold the grout well without worry of it chipping out). I also sealed with Miracle 511 sealer and enhancer as I wanted the grout to look darker than the natural grey I used (for lack of a charcoal grey grout being available) and wanted a wettish look to make the tile stand out or pop as well as protect it from any stains that might occur over time.
This tile has a lot of texture it is not smooth and completely flat, but nothing to worry about tripping over. It is a little hard to slide furniture on it. This tile is also non-slip even after sealing. Non-slip was an important factor in choosing tile for this room as we do have a spa in the 'den'. Dust mop and damp mop is all that's needed to keep this tile looking perfect!
Only complaint I have is the hot glue used to close the 'box', stuck on every corner of the tile in the top of the 7 stack pile, so had to scrape that off of all corners of 62 tiles.
If only I lived in an area that doesn't have winter, I would install this tile on my patio too. It's that beautiful!

I wanted a tile that looked like rock. This was perfect for the look in my new basement shower! I also used a "river rock" tile for my shower floor. The pros are that it looks awesome, but I can see how the color can change in different lights. It was pretty similar to the stock photos. I had a hard time choosing between the Beige and Gris, and I'm glad I went with the Gris. Cons would be that it takes a little over a week to arrive, and Estes freight has never been the most "gentle" with your shipments. That's why mine, and others, show up broken, even if it was all packaged and delivered on a pallet. Make sure you have room to put a pallet if you ordered a bunch! Luckily my contractor can use the broken pieces for the cut pieces. Hopefully no more than what I see is broken!! I love how the grout/cut lines are all the same, so you don't have to go fitting different pieces together; ALL pieces have the same cut lines. I'm sure my contractor appreciated that too! This photo was taken in the daylight, and my tile is going in the basement with no natural light, so I hope it doesn't change too much!! Overall, extremely happy.
