Will this strip cover the irregular edge of the Merola Mercury Wave mosaic tiles, or will I have to cut pieces of mosaic to even the bottom edge?

Good afternoon,
Any mosaic tile used with our SuperTrim products will need to be cut to a straight edge in order to create the most professional and properly installed look. We suggest cutting the product with a wet saw to the size needed for your installation, and using the SuperTrim to sit up against the cut edge, for a clean look. If the tile were to be left uncut, grout would be needed to fill in the

Any mosaic tile used with our SuperTrim products will need to be cut to a straight edge in order to create the most professional and properly installed look. We suggest cutting the product with a wet saw to the size needed for your installation, and using the SuperTrim to sit up against the cut edge, for a clean look. If the tile were to be left uncut, grout would be needed to fill in the large spaces between the mosaic chips and the SuperTrim – this is something we would not suggest.

Looking for a 1/2" transition / edge strip for tile to hardwood floors.

took out a wall in my kitchen and removed the old linoleum, there was even older linoleum under that would take too much effort to remove. With backer board and tile I have a 1/2" gap I need to transition.

These SuperTrims are made to edge or finish off tile installations to give a complete look. Because they are angled from the tile edge to meet a flat edge, like a wall, they are not suitable for use as a transition strip. A transition strip should be level on top to bridge the gap between flooring types.
