The Home Depot offers dried grout samples in the flooring department, so we recommend you take a sheet of this tile to your local store and put them together to see which you like best. You can use either sanded or unsanded grout, but we would suggest using unsanded based on the grout size. I see a few comments where people have used these mosaic tiles on the shower base floor. But, the product specs do not really specify if this type of porcelain tile is suitable for shower floors. Is this really acceptable and recommended?

Answer:
Hi Jerry,
These mosaic tiles are a great choice for a shower floor. They are solid porcelain with a textured glaze that provides some slip resistance in wet areas. Additionally, since the mosaic pieces are small, the many grout lines between them provide additional slip resistance.
If you have further questions, feel free to give our customer service team a call at 800-963-7652.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great products Back splash looks great in our kitchen with light grey cabinets, white walls, stainless steel appliances, and light grey vinyl canadian hewn planks. June 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect tile for me! I live in a 1958 ranch that has been "updated" through the years. I am in the process of returning it to its original and intended state. I have stripped paint off of knotty pine, stripped white glazing off of pink bathroom tiles and replaced large format tile it the kitchen with real, live linoleum (not vinyl flooring - learn the difference!). My master bath had been stripped of any of its original features so, after taking it down to the studs, I was able to start all over. I used this tile on the entire floor including shower pan and it is perfect. Not only does it look great, it performs great - no slipping or sliding due to the texture of the smaller tiles. I could not be more pleased. March 17, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Order extra, expect a lot of chipped tiles. I had to patch into an area of a bathroom built in 1978. I was very happy that The Home Depot had this tile available in white. I only needed about 4 square feet, so I ordered one box. On delivery, I was very happy that the tile matched, although there was slightly more space between the tiled than the original, so they wouldn't line up quite exactly with the originals. When I opened the box, I was very disappointed to find that half of the one square foot sheets had chipped and cracked tiles! I'm not talking one or two per sheet. It was more like seven or eight chipped or cracked tiles, on five of the ten sheets! Luckily for me, I only needed about half the box, but if I was planning on using the whole box, I would have been a very unhappy customer! March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this tile! I bought this tile in gold (really more of a soft yellow) for a powder room re-do in my newly purchased 1960's townhouse. The tile is absolutely stunning and fits with the age and character of the house. The original floor tiles were speckled gold and the floor couldn't be saved after years of a leaking toilet, but I wanted to match them as closely as I could. I like these gold tiles even better! I still have a pink full bath that needs remodeling (more leaky plumbing!), although I may be able to keep the original bathtub. When I'm ready, I'm going to buy this tile in pink too, to match the tub. January 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love how they look. The only problem we had was we cut them with a wet saw and the net backing came loose from some of the tiles. We had to glue them back on the netting and then let that dry before we could apply them to the floor. We used white grout and it looks great with our grey and white bath. October 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful This product is awesomely beautiful and is almost 100% exactly contrasting to my present wall tile. June 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Vintage Bathroom We selected this tile for our bathroom remodel. We used the tile on the floor and shower floors, we also added a border of the tile to the white subway tile in the shower and it looks beautiful. Our goal was to create a vintage looking bathroom and this tile was perfect for the look. January 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Retro Look - But New! My partner and I recently bought a mid-century house with a blue guest bathroom. We were so happy to see this tile installed. It looks even better than we thought it would. The design is very mid-century, with the rectangles and squares, and the shade fits in perfectly with the existing bathroom tiles and vanity cabinet. We're so happy to have achieved a vintage look using something new! June 11, 2014
