Air will not flow under a sodered copper or other type of metal roof that can be sodered, cliped connections are not sodered so a insignificant amount of air may pass under a cliped roof.To have proper air flow requires continuous venting at top and bottom of the roof line. Continuous venting is a requirement to preserve the full warrenty of an asphalt shingle installation. See warrenty requirement from manufacturer. Note;Contractors are not required to install roofs according to manufacturer's specifications to meet the full warranty requirements. This is because the orginial builder did not build into the structure the proper venting now recommended. This is expecially true when it comes to asphalt shingles. Their main job is to give you a price that will give them a job, not to confuse a homeowner with a price much higher then the competition. To note, the competition upon the question of full warrenty will make any claim and then plead ignorance if discovered to not have installed per manufacturer. That's a fact in my location, tell em what they want to hear is required. Customer Reviews

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Glue on Wrong side Complete agree with the reviewer who said the glue was on the wrong side. It would have worked so much better to glue it to the metal panel and then position the metal panel correctly. It is very hard to put metal roofing on a steep roof, by yourself, to began with. After fiddling with this, trying to line them up correctly so the my next metal panel fit properly, I decided they were worth the extra difficulty and increase in life threatening falls. They are in the garbage! October 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by perfect for sealing. did its job. easy to install. had a strip of glue already on it. October 11, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not so good This ribs did not match with the panel groves exactly. I had to cut about 1 inch piece regularly to fit in to the groves in the panel October 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Get it somewhere else No glue on the ends. Melted to bottom of box, customer service thought it was funny, Customer service is horrible. August 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Patio cover closure strip Use this to close the ends of metal roofing panels for a patio cover. July 5, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Used for interior metal siding in work shop. The closure material has the glue on the wall side. That is fine you can get it stuck on the building in the right position to match the ribs. Would be much easier if the closure material was configured such that you could glue it to the metal siding before the siding is installed. That's why I gave it 3 stars. February 16, 2016
