Yes, the end frames stack onto each other with the included coupling pins and the cross braces fit slide out of the lock pins. No tools required. Storage is compact with end frames nesting onto one another because of our SaferStack design.

If I wanted to buy three of these to stack, one set on top of the other, would that be a supported configuration? Is a three-level stack within the safety limitations for this product?

There is no way this will hold 9,000 lbs. That's over FOUR tons!! The walkboards that can be bought for a unit such as this hold about 500 lbs each, and you use 3 of them to cover this unit.

Steve,
I see no reason why a person could not safely have a 3 section stack-up. Take a look at the assembly instructions included on the HD site for this product. Steve,
I see no reason why a person could not safely have a 3 section stack-up. Take a look at the assembly instructions included on the HD site for this product. The weight limit is over 9,000 lbs so unlikely you would exceed that. Of more importance is the bullet points on the right hand side of the instructions (about half way down). A three level stack is acceptable for a rolling set-up. Even higher setups are acceptable for stationary setups if attached to a stationary object (the building usually).
Follow the guidelines and you should be fine. I always like to attach to the building whenever I am over 10'. On a rolling setup I would also invest in some outriggers for anything over 10'. Make sure you have a solid bearing surface, all things are level, error on the side of caution and be careful. Read Less

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Damaged One of the frames was damaged. HD would not order a replacement frame unless I took back the complete section (two frames and two braces). It's a 160 mile round trip to return then wait 2 weeks for the frames then make a 160 mile trip again. I used my torch and welder and repaired it. July 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saferstack scaffold quality product Was trying to match an existing Scaffold frame and was a perfect fit. The width is measured from the pipe center to center and is 5' exactly... Made in Canada May 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value The manufacture should paint the cross supports and pack for shipping to limit damage to the uprights. Home Depot gave me some touch up paint. Thank You May 25, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible condition Product was chipped up scraped up and just looked used. May 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great scaffolds Ordered 5 sets of those, with the "feet" set for stability. Got them in a very short time, pleasant and helpful delivery guy. The only reason a star was removed was for the finish, since areas of flaking blue paint on a brand new article is always a bit disappointing (but it is minor overall, and I do not really care as long as they are solid). Otherwise, they are sturdy, well built, a breeze to assemble and disassemble. I like the locking mechanism for the cross-bars.I believe these scaffolds present excellent value given their reasonable price. November 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent, stable, solid, yet light enough to easily erect Pro: This is the good stuff. About 45 lbs per frame, good and solid. I debated the 6ft/level versus this (5ft/level mason). I am glad I did the 5ft, because you can easily and safely erect the next level from the level below before climbing to it. I did go elsewhere to buy the diagonal cross brace (HD didn't carry it). You need this (it adds a lot of stability) for 3+ stories high. Con: * Several sections arrived DENTED by a forklift, so I will have to return those sections. * the powder coating (paint) is cheap and flakes off. It is a nice non-slip surface while it lasts. * some minor fitting issues (holes drilled a little off location, ends could use a chamfer, etc) Overall, I will purchase again. April 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good price for sturdy equipment good value , for home use , easy to assembly , makes working at height easier than off ladder , ended up buy two sets so I wouldn't have to put ladder on top of one set. April 14, 2015
