I was impressed with the build quality of the spreader it is the improved model with the brush auger that keeps the salt from leaking out when it's not running motor looks very sturdy and the controller that came with it will operate the optional vibrator which I highly recommend the vibrator helps all of the product get into the hopper position while you're moving aroundwe had to build an extension for the extension to make it work with the Utv or atv receiver hitch I also used ratchet straps to take the pressure off of the receiver hitch as it's not very heavy duty on an ATV. I look forward to spreading salt down the steep hill without walking behind a spreader this winter

Had to wait several months to reorder new one. Product was OK but would not purchase from Home Depot again. Customer service was not helpful at all.

I mounted this to a compact tractor 3 point hitch. It works perfectly, actually better than I thought.
the wiring was simple and really anyone with basic DC knowledge can install this in about an hour.
I was picky and ran the harness along side the tractors.
the hardest part was finding the proper spreading speed and machine speed to cover the width of the driveway in one pass.

I had my unit wiring done professionally and it took them two hours, that is when we all realized there is no vibrator in the unit it is a separate unit sold by Meyer, this should be listed by Home Depot so you can order it all at the same time instead of looking at the controller picture and assuming the vibrator is included

As long as you do not misread and expect the vibrator to come with the unit, it is everything they claim it is. I went out and bought a furniture dolly and placed the unit on it and it is working out well for storage in my small garage.
