Replacement accessories

Do you have any replacement accessories that will fit this A/C - Arctic King MPG-08CRN1-BH9? I have none of the attachments that will allow me to connect it to a window. I am looking for the Air outlet tie-in, air outlet pipe, adaptor, drain hose, window slider kits, and the foam for around the window.

Customer Reviews

8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Dehumidifier and Remote is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Midea 8000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner Bought this for a bedroom thats not really a bedroom but has two huge bay windows, and cannot accomodate a regular air conditioner. This portable unit quickly cools off the room, which is rather large and hot, with the south facing bay window. Only drawback for us is the hose to remove the condensation, a bucket fills up within several hours with water and we have to keep emptying it out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Powerful, but loud; Very short hose. Surprised at more powerful cooling than I need to reduce bedroom temp by 10 degrees or so, in about 15 minutes. I am very happy, but it's not for you if you are a light sleeper. After a month of use, it is handling the water without a need to empty, in a medium humidity location. HOWEVER, be prepared to add an extension to the hose. My window is 4' from the floor and the hose is too short to make it. I got a great sale price and free shipping, so it was worth some inconvenience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Unit - little noisy but works well Like others mentioned, the vent slot required a bit of adjusting with other materials. Not all windows are the same. I bought the unit originally 2 years ago when the central air broke in my town home and used it to cool my bedroom during the summer which worked great. Since then my wife and I moved into a 2 story home with Central Air and we use it in the 2nd floor master bedroom at night. This allows us to keep the central air down saving money and cools our bedroom perfectly. Recently I've had a yellow film on the floor around the unit, I'm not exactly sure what this is yet and have not seen any other reviews discussing this. I also see the yellow coating on the white towel I have in between the window and vent to provide additional insulation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It works, but it's flawed This AC cools OK, but it is very noisy and creates allot of heat it's self. It's heavy and not very movable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeping my room cool.... I bought this nice unit about a week ago,and so far it has been wonderful. I live in the Mojave Desert and even in Aug/Sept. is can get vary VARY hot, so after years of suffering when they shut down my swamp cooler for winter (even when its still 90 Deg. outside) I decided its time to get a room A/C...woot. As I said I have only had it for a week but it has keep my room and most of the Apt. (when I leave the bedroom door open) at 75....I run it on Auto and it runs in fan mode most of the time, the A/C kicks in about every 20-45 min. but all and all this is a wonderful little unit. The only problem I had was with the window vent.....its a little narrow so the hose adapter sicks out a little far and I had to use some cardboard to fix it but other then that I would recommend this to all my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it is designed to do. Followed the instructions and left it upright for 48 hours+ before running it. It cools the small room I have it in just fine and doesn't draw much power, which one of the reasons I bought one this small. Cools fine, is quiet, works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8000 BTU Air condtioner Excellent Product simple to hook up and operate ideal for a 12x15 upstairs bed room and when the hot season is over simple to put away, mush better than a window unit

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cools quick, very happy We got this for our toddler's room which is about 10 deg hotter than the rest of the house. We kept having to turn the house a/c on for his naps even if it was a mild day out. Even with the house a/c on, the room doesn't cool well, so we've been running it then too. We've had it a couple months now and couldn't be more pleased with our purchase so far. The room is appr 9x11 and cools down in 5 min or less, even when stifling hot. It's very easy to roll around and has two large hand holes on the sides for lifting. I'm 5'4" and rely on my husband for muscles, but I can lift it. Which, by the way, you have to do to drain it. My one big complaint: drain hole at the bottom, so you have to take it somewhere to drain (we lift it out the door wall and empty off the deck, so it's not so bad). We're still trying to figure out a way to run a hose from it out the door so we don't have to move it. We always turn it off before we go to bed, so it's never run all night long, but if it filled with too much water it would beep 6 times and turn off. That would of course wake the baby up. We hope to solve the hose issue before the really hot weather comes. Our "window" is a door wall, so we had to adapt the window slider kit with a wood plank and use our own insulation (the stuff that comes with it is kind of joke anyway). Not perfect, a few gaps, but doesn't seem to affect the cooling. On a side note to this, tried to order a second window slider kit from the company. Went to their site, ordered it and realized I was never asked for payment info. After a couple days when my order status was still pending, I sent an email. No reply. Waited a week, sent another. To this day no reply. And no phone number to call. Doesn't instill confidence, but fortunately, if the a/c hadn't worked right we could have returned to Home Depot. It kind of looks like Eva from WALL-E, so it's fun, but it's not remotely our style so I'm glad it's not in a main room. Overall, it's not perfect, but it's fantastic for the price. Very pleased with our choice. Would do it again. Hopefully it gives us many good years of service.
