Don't know what you mean by connector? Everything you need is included except for bolt and or clamps if you are installing on chain link fence. I used two clamps and two bolts with washers and nuts.
The closer unit hooks up to the driveway door and there is a receiver bracket that goes to the fence post. the receiver is what the lock closes into.

it comes with a length of wire to be hooked up to your mighty mule gate opener 350 and above(dont know if it works with other brands). you have to make sure the jumper settings in the gate opener are correct, and connect the wire according to gate opener instructions. the lock comes with minimal instructions.

She does not have to get out and open or close the gate - especially when it is raining.

Will it work on a gate that swings out?

This question is from Automatic Gate Lock for Single and Dual Swing Mighty Mule Gate Openers
August 15, 2015
I'm looking into purchasing this product, but am concerned that my gate swinging out to open will prove problematic. I'm concerned with having to mount it on the outer side of the gate. If it is on the outside of the gate will that defeat the purpose and make it susceptible to tampering?

Answer:
Yes. My gates open out. I did two things. I purchased locks for the pins that hold the "arms" in place. I also purchased a gate lock with my system. Even if they got the "arms" loose, you still are not going to get the gates open!

Answer:
Yes, it will have to be mounted on the outside if your gate swings out. As far as tampering goes, if you could conceal the wire that goes to you control box it would be difficult to tamper with. Also, you would need to use a different latch pin that could not be removed.

The latch, inside the lock, electrically opens until the gates are closed, then it electrically locks. No "forces" are needed. I wish the site would let me post a video. You can hear the lock electrically unlock and lock.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It saved my marriage This product saved my marriage. The wife doesn't have to get out of the truck in the rain or snow when we come home anymore she can stay inside with me with the heater on.while the opener does its thing. Easy to install, will take the better part of a day . Follow the directions exactly and you will have no problems. This company has it together. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great, solid recommendation Installation is easy. Adjustments will be needed but they too, are easy. It LOCKS the gates so they cannot be pushed open enough for say MY dogs to escape. Since that is the reason for the whole system, this part is crucial! One idea: hide one of the unlock keys somewhere near the gate, in case of a failure of some sort. You are not going to get the gate open with out it!!! Another reason I like it. August 16, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by TheNoviceInstallerOne it is difficult to install on a tube type gate. Getting it aligned is not easy either. The installation takes longer than one would anticipate. May work better on gates that are shorter and/or not round or tube gates. July 5, 2016
