can this keypad control two different gates that swing independently

I have two gates that swing to meet in the center of the opening. Would it be possible to have this keypad control both gates?

If you have a Mighty Mule dual gate opener (model # FM502, FM402) only one digital keypad is required to open both gate opener arms. Thank you for posting your question!

Our Mighty Mule Automatic Gate Openers (model #'s FM200, FM350, FM500 FM502 and FM402) all feature an Auto-Close time setting. The Auto-Close determines how long the gate will remain open before it automatically closes. The factory setting is OFF. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, you can adjust the settings to OFF, or from 3 to 120 seconds. NOTE: if the Auto-Close timer is disabled Read More

NOTE: if the Auto-Close timer is disabled (your gate will not automatically close) if the gate is not at the fully open position. Depending on how you have your Auto-Close feature set up will tell you when your gate will close when using a Mighty Mule digital keypad ( FM137, MMKPD and FM136)

Answer: 
It is wireless, but can be be hardwired. It would use low voltage wire so you could go quite a ways, several hundred feet. Check with a local electrician and building dept.

Yes, two keypads can be used on one gate opener. One keypad would be used as a entry method and the other keypad would be used as a way to exit the property. Thank you!

I thought the mounting post could have been a little more heavy duty, but not really an issue. Good product and good value. July 21, 2015
