Fred,
Thank you for posting your question! No, there is no way to disable the driveway sensor remotely. The only ways to disable the wireless driveway sensor (FM130) once it’s installed, would be to remove the batteries from the transmitter module or disconnect the receiver (RB709U-NB) from the Gate Openers control board. Customer Reviews

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hope you don't need it to work Installed per the instructions. Verified installation through Customer Support. It DOES function but only when IT feels like it. I will keep playing with it because I am not one to have something only work 1/2 the time! If I cannot get it to be reliable, I will rip,it out and return it!!!!!!! NOT saying it is the product...........yet! We will have to see. My above, ratings reflect the accessory as it "functions" now. It's possible, if I get it to work consistently, that my opinion will change. August 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 36' Range It advertizes a 100' range. I found, by trial and error, that mine would only work at 36' or less. It works, but the 36' lead makes me have to wait longer on the gate to open. July 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Doesn't always work, replaced batteries 3 times and still having difficulties. June 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works like it should As always with Mighty Mule products the advertised length of signal is always shorter in real life but opener works as it should. February 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Inside gate sensor I purchased this 9 months ago. It just up and stopped working. Checked batteries all 1.63 V brand new. It will not work. If you wiggle it will send and open. Expensive option only to work for 9 months. August 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great Works great for remote operation where there is no electricity when used with the solar package. Other than the sensor, no trenching to the opener. Although the sensor itself has a limited range of about 5 feet, my sensor and transmitter are 50 feet from the opener. The limited range with the sensor actually works as an advantage when I want to drive down the driveway to other areas of the property, I just stay to the opposite side of the road where I located the sensor. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by simply wouldn't work - get the wired version! I bought this along with a pair of gate openers (FM502) and gates (all Mighty Mule) to allow easy egress from our property. When installed according to the instructions provided, it worked intermittently at best. I finally called GTO for support and ended up having to send the unit back (on my nickel of course!) as they determined that it was faulty. The unit provided in exchange performed exactly the same way and so they requested that be returned also (this time providing a return label). This time in exchange (at my request) GTO provided a wired unit (FM138) that has performed as advertised. The only issue here is that 50ft is not far enough from the gate because you must drive right up to the gate before it opens (our gates are over 600ft from the house). I would definitely stay away from the wireless units. We are in the country so it is doubtful that we have anything providing interference for the radio and yet we were unable to get it working. I would rate this as "0" stars if possible. April 23, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It does not work and we have done everything possible!!!! I now have to dig it up again and bring it back to the store!!! I even put new batteries in just in case that the ones it came with was bad!! August 21, 2013
