You really want to avoid any spark around flammable liquids. The vapor may not be noticeable but it is still ignitable.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Will Move Water This does pump water - but not fast. I need to move 25 -30 gallons & it works fine. I mounted mine to a board to stabalize it. I pre lub the system with olive oil to help suction at the start. May 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Appears rugged I was looking for a self priming pump. It has proven it is. Good flow. Rugged appearance for plastic body. Happy with purchase. Would give it 5 stars, but only used it twice. July 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lives up to add Easy to use and durable so far, but I have only had it for one month and used it maybe four times July 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flush Automatic Transmission This type of pump can be used to flush automatic transmission fluid. Saves a lot of $$$ bypassing the dealer who in most cases only drains the pan which only removes about 1/4 of the fluid. You then get billed for 12 qts. of fluid when they only replaced 3. I've seen this happens too many times. You can flush out ALL of the old transmission fluid with one of these. May 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked great! Works like a charm (used one time) and self primes. Good flow (12 inch lift). But! instructions call for a 600 watt drill. No key chuck works better as my keyed chuck wouldn't tighten enough to not slip. Turns tough (to self prime and not leak) but my Makita cordless drill worked fine. June 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Drill Pump Previously had a different/smaller model drill pump. I found this one online and decided to give it a try. My husband cleans out water from our automatic water-buckets for our horses. So far its worked like a charm. It's also a lot faster than trying to scoop out the buckets by hand. I highly recommend this pump for smaller jobs such as this. Hoping it lasts several more months! January 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I needed Once I found out the output side, I was ready to go. I use this drill pump to remove water from beside my shed and garden compost. I pump into a 5 gal container and dump into my 35 gal water (garden) trash can. April 17, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by a leaker from the word go Transfers liquids at a substantial pace (better than I expected), but it leaked around the shaft from the outset. I probably will not use this pump for much else, so it isn't a big deal for me, but if this item is to be used on a regular basis, you will likely be disappointed. February 13, 2014
