The product works pretty well. There is not a blade to fit perfectly in my circular saw. I figured they would pick their blade widths based on the most popular saws (I have Dewalt). I therefore have to make sure my guide hasn't moved while making cuts. Having to check to make sure it's square makes it less useful, but it's still better than following a chalk line.

There's no way anyone who uses a circular or jig saw could bypass purchasing this! Its benefits are obvious. Please note that off-brand saws may not have the slots to attach this guide. This tool has made my work much easier. Thank you Milescraft.

The clamping mechanism, if you could seriously call it that, which attaches it to your jig saw will NOT hold tight; it slips badly while cutting. I set out to cut a 9" radius and buy the end of the cut it was 9 3/4! Trying to tighten it even more only distorts the metal and makes it worse. You will be better off and $9 richer cutting free-hand.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by surveyor perfect for RYOBI
this is a perfect fit for both the Ryobi 18v jigsaw and the 18v circular saw. The jigsaw uses guide "C" and the circular saw uses guide "B". seems to be constructed ok for the weekend projects I'm going to be doing. LOVE the hole cutting feature. I was unsure if the guides would fit Ryobi tools but I just asked a salesperson if I could open it in the store and test it first on the tools.

I bought this guide to use with my jigsaw to make straight crosscuts(before you judge, I live in an apartment and a jigsaw is probably the loudest tool I can use without neighbors calling police) and I can't find a way to have it clamped to my jigsaw's plate. The amount of plastic used in the stop is giving me tons of play when I need it to be steady. But for $10 this is what you get. I returned this guide and will be looking for a more sturdy option.

I can cut faster and straighter by eye. This is half plastic. The teeth that are supposed to assure alignment instead make alignment impossible. Kregs has a good guide, but you have to spend 3x's as much.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Frumious Works with Craftsman 10871 and SkilSaw 5780-01
The "A" blade fits accurately on a Craftsman 10871 - probably does on all the Craftsman 7-1/4" line. You won't need the screws and other hardware.
I've used this on a SkilSaw 5780-01 as well, with accurate cutting results.
You can use it to cut circles with a jig saw.
What to do with blades "B", "C" and "D"? Seems like a waste to toss them.
