We just had a sunroom built where the 28yr old sundeck was, comming off the kitchen dinning area.
All window sunroom, except for ceilimg, (three season sunroom). Ceiling fan and electric fire place for heating. Room is very cold in the morning, warms up fast with fire place. Sunroom is only 104sq.feet.

Answer:
We just installed this flooring in a similar room, though twice the size -- addition, lots of windows, etc. It looks great and installed very easy over the existing subfloor. The floor does tend to feel a bit cold but warms up in the sun. I think it would be a good fit.

Answer:
We would not recommend hardwood floors for this application. Hardwood floors should be installed in controlled environments, maintained between 60-80 degrees and 35-55% relative humidity.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High quality flooring, quick install, great price! We purchased around 500 square feet of this flooring to match the existing 60-year-old maple flooring in our home. Though the old flooring is yellower in appearance, the new floors still are a vast improvement over the mismatched hardwood and carpeting we replaced. We had contractors install it and they completed all the work in two days, including time to rip out old flooring, so it must have gone fairly well. It certainly looks great and shows no marks or scratches from install or moving the furniture back into place. My only minor complaint is that there were a few discolored boards, but it is really the fault of the installers for not discarding those and choosing better ones. Overall, the quality and appearance were very consistent. I purchased 10 percent extra and ended up returning all of it to the store because there was so little waste. There is a fair bit of color variation between the boards, but that was what we were looking for to match the older wood. If you want only light pieces, you will need to purchase extra to make sure you get the look you want. April 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful flooring at a great price After much searching for price and quality, I selected this product. I am glad I did. It was easy to install and looks absolutely beautiful. April 10, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by inconsistent color, too many knots. Fast delivery. The price is good if you do not mind the uneven color for your hardwood floor. April 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great! Floors went down without a hitch. They look beautiful. May 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by well worth the money Product installed very easily. We found very precise cuts (not various widths as others have mentioned). Proper installation is the key - making sure to have your nails completely set and trim any shards/wood splits that might occur from the nails going through the tongue - then, there shouldn't be any spaces b/w boards. Pieces were surprisingly long overall - not boxes full of 12" pieces! More often than not, I had to open boxes to find pieces that were under 24". There was definitely variability in the color That was fine with us, but might not be for others - - that would be the only reason to order 10% extra for waste. We ended up having the entire 10% still in the boxes. 5 boards were damaged in shipping, but we used them as cut (end) pieces, so they weren't even a wasted. Also - we saved approximately 10% just by ordering on the net as opposed the exact same product / sku at the local store. That's a huge savings, especially considering the amount of time you have to wait for the product to arrive is the same whether the store orders it for you and you pick it up or you order it directly shipped to your house - - it's a no-brainer! We'll see about the durability long term... August 16, 2012
