Product Overview

This durable prefinished engineered real oak floor will enhance the value of your home. The flooring is crafted of five layers of solid wood permanently bonded together in a cross-ply design. No HDF or other fiber boards are utilized. This construction provides superior strength and humidity resistance. No warping or buckling. The stability of this floor provides maximum installation options (float, staple, or glue down). The aluminum oxide finish provides 10 times more abrasion resistance than ordinary urethane finishes. Our flooring is proudly crafted from wood grown and responsibly harvested in the USA. We have radiant heat floors. What kind of material would we need or required with a floor with radiant heat in the flooring? We love this flooring, but want to make sure it is compatible with what our options are. Thank You. Please advise?

Oak Bordeaux 1/2 in. Thick x 5 in. Wide x Random Length Engineered Hardwood Flooring (31 sq. ft. / case) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Flooring Ever! DO NOT buy this flooring - It's expensive, but very poor quality. I though engineered would be a more durable product, WRONG answer. The installers scratched the floor tried to fix it, but it didn't work. the very same day I dropped a small jewelry box and it made a hole in floor. Since then 6 mos, I have several small holes in the floor and Home Depot won't do anything to resolve the matter. They claimed the floor is not defective, it probably isn't, it's just cheap! Don't let them scam you, I'm out 8K and will probably have to replace the entire 2nd floor of my home in the near future, you can bet I won't be going to Home Depot for that. Unless you don't plan on walking on your floor, ever, don't buy this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Oak Harvest Engineered Flooring is excellent. I would highly recommend this product to anyone... The Oak Harvest Engineered Flooring is excellent. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is installing wood floors. My only complaint is there were a few boxes that were short and there was not 31sq ft. in the box as advertised. I had no wasted pieces from any of my cuts. The small area that was completed was 60 sq ft and I was two pieces short within my two boxes. The larger 150sq ft area that was completed was 3 pieces short within my 5 boxes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty floors I bought these two years ago and now again to match my kitchen . I have a big dog and the floors from 2 years ago have some scratches but you can barely tell. They are strong and have done well with humidity ( I live beachside ) They are on the pricey side but well worth it if you are looking for a wood feel and look

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Stuff So Far This is the 1/2 inch version (not click lock) of the engineered flooring. I selected this because it is installed in my basement and the cement floor was not perfectly level (but close). The 1/2 inch thickness adds to the stiffness and prevents that soft feeling. The flooring looks good. Time will tell on the durability.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware! If you have wood floors be aware that neither the manufacturer or Home Depot will warranty this product if you have more than 1/8 of an inch of slope over 10 feet. Many older homes cannot meet this standard. The "official" Home Depot measurer will not measure for this, so you only discover the warranty issue after your installer arrives onsite.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the product Love the floor but do not understand why manufacturers are not making base board to accompany product. Very frustrating

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install, looks great... Easy to install, looks great. Did not have a problem with warped or damaged boards in the boxes. The only negative I can forsee comparing it to laminate or hardwood is it's ability to withstand scratches and wear. Would recommend for the price and ease of installation.
