Cork flooring combines the beauty of a natural and truly renewable material with the comfort of a cushioned, warm and silent surface. It is highly sustainable since the cork oak trees are not cut. Only the outer bark is harvested, and it will grow again each 9 years. The new narrow and beveled plank format creates a more appealing and elegant look than traditional cork floors that are made in large panels. Cork flooring is warm underfoot, comfortable and soft to walk on, anti-microbial, fire and moisture resistant and provides unrivalled noise reduction properties. Installation is made easy with the precision milled glue less locking system. This floor features an integrated underlayment made out of cork. Easy maintenance: simply vacuum. prefinished cork requires no additional sealing after installation. Warm to the touch and resilient, cork floors are a great addition to your home. Ideal for all levels of installation. This floor qualifies for 4 LEED points: (1) EQ4.3 (Indoor Environmental Quality)Low Emitting, (2) MR4.1 (Materials & Resources)Recycled Content, (3) MR 6-Rapidly Renewable Materials, (4) ID 1-Innovation in Design.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking floor I installed this floor in my master bedroom 5 days ago with the help of one other person and couldn't be more pleased with the result. The floor looks great! The color is consistent from box to box. The pattern hides the seems really well and the planks lock together very tight. I cannot comment on the durability of the floor as it's only been a few days, but I will say so far it meets my expectations for a cork floor. It is soft, so things like high heels will leave indentations, although heavy furniture on felt pads left no marks. A regular hardwood cleaning product easily took up the remaining saw dust and footprints from installation. I have two greyhounds and they haven't left anything noticeable to date. The floor is comfortable under foot and the noise level meets expectations for a cork floor. For the first time installing a click-lock type floor, I would say the process is pretty easy for a decent do it yourself person. Definitely find installation videos to find out how to deal with doorways and thresholds; but this goes together like any click-lock type floor. The only disappointment so far is that a considerable number of the planks (1-2 per box) were damaged during shipment. That left us sorting through the damaged pile for places where we could use the good sides or hide the damaged corners under funiture. I ordered 10% more product as recommended and did end up with enough to spare. Overall I think this is a great product and that we will be happy with it for many years to come. September 7, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable flooring, slightly tricky install for beginners My husband and I ordered this flooring sight unseen from The product looks beautiful - slightly more tan than the pictures on the website, but it does have the blueish and greenish highlights. Installation was not as simple as I'd expected (I should mention that we are complete beginners). Our room did not have a straight, solid wall to brace the first row against, so as we installed the second row it kept shifting out of line. Each tile has to be perfectly aligned in order for the floor to go together properly. Once we found something else to brace it against, things went more quickly. The tiles don't just snap together - you need to hold them at the proper angle and tap with a hammer and tapping block. It took a while for us to get the hang of it. A word of caution on ordering: we were advised to order 10% extra in case of damaged tiles (there were two with slight damage). For our small room, 10% was very little - we ended up having exactly the right number of tiles for the room and had to creatively use the damaged ones in places where the damage would be trimmed away. These come eight tiles to a box and the tiles can only be put in one way. Now that I know that, for a small project, I would order even more extra. As it turns out, we didn't mess up any of our cuts and had exactly what we needed to finish the room. After two weeks, we're still thrilled with it - comfortable, beautiful and seems like it will hold up well in a high-traffic area. March 19, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A lot of damage As other reviews have indicated, a lot of sheets were too damaged to use, like at least 35% of what I purchased. For the price of this, it should arrive in better condition. Having reinforced cardboard corners in the packaging would go a long way in protecting the delicate cardboard interlocking groves. Took a while to get the hang of installation but went smoothly after a few rows. Seams are visible in the right light. With this said, the product does look quite nice and has greatly improved the look of the room. The floor is soft and warm, very comfortable to lay on. I would lay cork floor again but would probably look for a better brand from a different supplier to avoid all the damage this product has through shipping. Home Depot, you really need to fix the corner packaging. February 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the floor . . . warm, cushy, and comfortable. The cork floor was installed in a basement room that was not perfectly square (surprise!), and the concrete floor was not perfectly even (surprise!). The edges of the sheets of flooring got a bit damaged in shipping so clean the edges well and remove loose pieces to get the sheets to snap into place. A bedroom was remodeled into a craft, quilting, sewing, scrapbooking room. It's fabulous to have everything in one place. Just need to add a litter pan and kitty condo so my handicapped cats can nestle in the room with me. Added a TV to watch sports. What a great place to spend my free time. April 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful install Love this product, looks great and was an easy install. Only problem, I mis- ordered for two rooms. Once I got the first room finished I realized I did not have enough product to complete the second room. When I went back to order more, I found to my disappointment "out of stock". This has me worried but I am hopeful it will be restocked soon. April 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful floor Met all our expectations. Could not see the seams once the boards were in place. Was not easy to install but well worth the effort November 19, 2013
