This durable high gloss prefinished engineered real maple floor will enhance the value of your home. The flooring is crafted of five layers of solid wood permanently bonded together in a cross-ply design. No HDF or other fiber boards are utilized. This construction provides superior strength and humidity resistance…no warping or buckling. Vintage floors may contain naturally occurring light and dark wood colors plus grain variations. The stability of this floor provides maximum installation options (float, staple or glue down). The aluminum oxide finish provides 10 times more abrasion resistance than ordinary urethane finishes. Our company has been manufacturing wood floors to exacting standards in Johnson City, Tenn., for over 110 years.

Answer:
I found quarter round and T-molding transition pieces which matched on Home Depot's website. I could not find treads, but I did find bullnose pieces. Everything was very expensive.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Flood looks beautiful installed. I really like it. The positives - the look of the product once installed in my room. The negatives - about half a box of the wood was milled backwards so could not be used. The local trucking company was running behind- product arrived locally on 8/22/11 but when no delivery as of 8/24, I called and they weren't able to bring until afternoon of 8/26 so I picked up product myself to get my project moving. I would, however, purchases this product again as the results are very attractive. September 6, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful maple floor--just know that it comes all the same lengths--NOT RANDOM LENGTH The first thing you must know is that this wood is all 49" long, every piece in every box. NO RANDOM LENGTHS. Next, you can still achieve a fairly random length look by cutting the end pieces as follows: Cut any length (e.g., 18") off the end of a piece, you'll have two different lengths then to work with. We then hid the cut end under the baseboard, and built the row across the room. At the far end of the row, you put back the piece that you cut off (hiding its cut end under the baseboard as well), or you create more waste by cutting another small piece. I ordered this online and it was shipped to my house. Delivery was through UPS and was great. The product shipped very quickly. Our hardwood installer followed the above installation method and made every row start with a different length piece. This method goes a long way towards fooling the eye that you are seeing random lengths. Because of the beveling of each piece, you only want to cut the end off where you can hide the cut end under the baseboard. The next issue is QUALITY. Be sure that you check EVERY piece front and back for imperfections. Make a stack of rejects. Final note: the dining room floor is beautiful. Maple is a beautiful wood, and these pieces have all sorts of swirls and whirls which give a lot of visual interest to the floor. Keep in mind that this floor is not distressed looking at all--it has a clean elegant look which suited our dining room perfectly. We are going to buy more to install in the living next month.
