Customer Questions & Answers

Does the Milwaukee 1/2 in. 850 RPM Magnum Drill (Model # 0300-20) come with a hard case included in price?

Does this product come with a hard case for storage and carrying?
Asked by: Anonymous
The one I bought came with a cardboard box only, I would not want a hard case for this drill as it will be used so much it probably would never be kept in it.

I have been using this model for over 40 years and have found it to be one of the best, most reliable and powerful hand drill that I have used ( short of Milwaukee's "Hole Hawg" right angle drill). The one I purchased was the display model which, due to being on display since the store opened was one of the few remaining new drills still "made in the USA" Not sure how the China import model will hold up or perform. Since this one (which replaces one lost in a shop fire) will probable be the last one I will need to buy, I probably will not have a chance to find out. This drill performs every bit as well as my 40+ year old model, GREAT!!.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best power tool ever made If you buy only one drill your entire life, this could and should be the one. There is no better drill currently made. I have 2 of these. One is almost older than I am and was used in a machine shop daily for over 20 years. This model is actually better than the 8amp version. It's a little slow but it stops for nothing. This drill will tear your arm off before it gives up. There are warnings as such on the drill and they should be followed. This thing is a tank, plain and simple. The design hasn't really changed since it was introduced. No matter what you are drilling, this drill will not let you down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product from Milwaukee! This is my first tool purchased from the Milwaukee brand. I bought it to replace my very old Craftsman drill. I was amazed at the power, quality, and speed of this product!!! I drilled very deep pilot holes, mixed paint, and even used it to help roll up a pool cover!!! I would purchase this product again, and another Milwaukee product! These are very high quality tools! This is a must for any garage and home!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with choice Only drawback to this drill is the lack of a case. Very solid feel for a smaller drill, lots of power. Should work well for most household needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Milwaukee tools are the best! I bought this Milwaukee drill because I needed a powerful portable drill motor ( Non-battery powered) to use at home. I have used the same model drill motor at work for many years and have never had a problem with it and it has always performed well for me. I feel very conffident that I can expect the same perfomance from this new drill motor I just purchased from Home Depot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made / Comfortable This is a strong drill that is easy to control as the pistol grip is well-designed and the front grip can be rotated into any desired position. The front drill housing is metal and cast so perfectly that I first thought it was plastic. I first used this drill to install grease fittings on my 36'' Stanley snow-blower. The added control was welcome as great care is needed when voiding your warranty on any product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My old Magnum finally bit the dust. the new one is lighter but still has plenty of power. Light, easy to handle. Milwaukee has maintained its quality over the years.
