Answer:
I'm fairly certain that all reciprocating saws use the same blade shank and locking mechanism. There are only a couple of blade brands available and they are basically made to fit all the saw brands interchangeably

Answer:
If you are planning to demolish the tub then a pair of goggles, heavy work gloves and a good sledge hammer will break cast iron tubs and sinks in to disposable chunks. Be careful and make sure no one else is in the area because chips will fly.
Cutting cast iron with a reciprocating saw is slow and you will need several blades depending on the size and number of cuts planned.

Answer:
Yes you should be worried about cracking, I would not even think about doing it! Any good metal saw blade will do the trick, the porcerlane, I can't spell that word, is another matter. It will shatter when you cut it.

Answer:
Hi Dewey, cast iron is real tough to cut. The blade you asked about is not the one recommended. There is other Milwaukee blades for cutting cast iron the sku numbers are: 486-355 Diamond grit and 490-035 a carbide grit.
Another brand called Diablo has two blades for cutting cast iron, sku numbers are: 339-539 and 339-732.
Cracking should not be a problem, however chipping can be.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Saw Blades This blade cuts great and lasted a long time. I would recommend this blade to anyone October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cutting Edge Perfrormance Conveniently packaged in a reusable container, to keep the extra blades from floating around the tool box, these blades cut though steel like cheese. They cut true, not bending or veering off of the cutting line, even when being pushed hard. Especially useful with a variable speed saw, to permit finding the "sweet spot" where the blade moves through the workpiece with little effort. When cutting across the two sides of a piece of channel, the blade cut true on both sides, with no tendency to bind or bend. After multiple test cuts, the blade cut the same on the last cut as on the first one, leaving a clean cut edge. Even when "pushing" the blade (too fast and too hard) there was no scoring or burning and no noticeable damage to the teeth. April 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well for my DIY home needs I'm a normal do-it-yourself home owner and sometimes have a need to cut metal. These blades meet all of my metal cutting needs. I like the longer length and so far a single blade continues to perform well after a few uses on steel pipe and aluminum angles 2" x 3" x 3/16". They seem to be quality blades and with this ten-pack, should meet my needs for a long time. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cuts steel like hot butter! I looked at all the bi-metal cutting blades at Home Depot and finally decided on the Milwaukee brand. My main purpose for these blades was to cut 4, 4x4 1/4 inch steel posts and my hope was that I wouldn't use all 5 blades to get the job accomplished. Much to my amazement the first blade cut through the steel like it was hot butter. The first blade cute though the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th post with no trouble at all. I can honestly say that the first blade is still sharp enough to tackle 4 more steel posts. The other 4 blades are still in their nice plastic case ready for action. These blades are incredible and they are the best product I've bought in many years! May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great blades I needed to cut an old cast iron water pipe. I read up on the best method, which was renting a breaker. The reason is that saw blades are so slow and I would need several blades. So I tried these and got ready for a slow and miserable job. But I was done in a few minutes, and the original blade I used is still ready for more. June 21, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Only good for 4 cuts pvc These blades are horrible they look good they are good for cutting plastic about 4 times but they dont last June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by saw blades easy to use did not need to change blades when cutting lath. June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A-- 9 Inch Torch This set of blades consists of 10-- 9 inch long 18 teeth per inch (tpi). They are a metal cutting blade but as I mentioned in another review I have used these higher teeth count blades to cut other materials when I needed a fine controllable cut. These blades are 1 inch wide not your typical 3/4 " wide cut at about a 45 degree angle on the end. The Torch blade is cut at 5-10 degrees at the end. They are very stiff for heavy duty cutting. Yes, they are Milwaukee, made in the USA and built to a higher standard then "The Others". Let the blade do the work, don't force it and they will out last, the others. April 13, 2016
