Product Overview

The Ax Sawzall blades have been engineered to deliver the fastest cuts, longest life, greatest tooth durability and quickest plunge cuts of any wood demolition blade on the market. Ordinary teeth deliver either speed or durability. Nail guard solves this trade-off with an aggressive 5 TPI pattern for faster cuts and a unique design that protects against tooth fracture. In addition, ordinary tips bounce or skate on the work piece. Fang tip bites into the wood on first contact. A thicker, more rigid blade body resists fracturing and bending for maximum durability. The 1in. tall blade body reduces blade twisting for straighter, more accurate cuts. Blade includes Matrix II bi-metal teeth for greater durability. Includes 25 individual blades.

So far, this blade design is a great improvement on the original "AXE" blade. This new blade does cut faster and lasts much longer. However a faster cut can often mean a crooked cut because things go south faster. Not precision, not a finish cut, so don't use this blade for those expectations. If used for the intended purpose, this blade is the best non-carbide tipped blade have used to date.

I am a big fan of milwaukee products ,, have 6 of the M18 line.. the sawsaw one of those. I bought this saw to trim a big soft wood tree.. that fell with a heavy rain storm.. I am sorry to say that the blade came dull with only 1 1/2 hour of use.. at this moment it must be at 50 % of ware . I can see it clearly against the teeth that were not used at the rear of the blade

Needed a blade to cut shrubs and saplings below ground level to enable mowing the area. This blade did the job but expect the front teeth to wear out quickly since they are cutting into dirt all the time. The back teeth last much longer since they're mostly cutting wood. I can't fault the blade since this is not it's designed purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding blades with unbelievable results Well, these blades were "suggested" to trim off tree limbs with, so I decided to put them to a maximized use. We had a 20+ year old Poplar tree that was cut down 3 months ago and the stump remained. I could purchase a chain saw, rent or hire a stump grinder, OR use these Sawzall Wood Blades. I'm a "do it yourselfer" with a limited budget, so I decided to use these blades with my DeWalt DW30 electric saw. I seriously doubt that many folks would put any blade to this test. The results are somewhat shocking as per the enclosed photos. I used ONLY 5 of the 10 blades to completely remove this sizable tree stump! Not kidding. If you want a hardy blade that will truly cut tree limbs, then considering how they performed on a STUMP, you should use these outstanding blades.

Beavers, woodchucks and mulcher machines should welcome their new family member! Keep up the great work. Competitors have to increase their engineering department because this one beats them all!
