Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by dcl10 Overall a good quality saw, but with some issues.
In all this is a good quality saw that has some nice features. The lights, digital miter readout, and a soft start motor are great. It's also solid and well built. That said it also has it's flaws. The old school undermount rails are reasonably smooth, but as with all undermounts when you push the head of the saw in , you are basically pushing at an angle which tends to introduce unwanted error. This is one of the reasons most rails these days are mounted higher up. The upward facing miter detents tend to collect sawdust, and if you are not very diligent about cleaning them, they can easily throw your cuts off by half a degree or more. Curiously the miter table sits slightly lower than the rest of the table, and when cutting thin delicate pieces this can cause unwanted tearout and even a slight bevel on the cut end. This is a great saw for framing, decking, or something similar, where durability is more important than precision, but I can't recommend it for high end finish work or cabinet making

The saw has a lot of power but it takes a little long to get up the RPM.The base and slide is smooth and easy to use.

The dust collection intake is too low the table needs to be a typical measurement so that you could set it up on a piece of plywood pick up a few drops & bam your ready to go

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jjc1 I read all the reviews to make sure this review addressed the market concerns
Let us start by stating this review is based on a large construction crew of both framers amd finishers. We own 15 units at this time. Bought the first one in 2006. Unlike others who experianced problems we maintain and service all our tools in regular intervals as well as clean an lubricate them. We have never had a failure on any of the 15 units. Except for a burned out lamp. Each saw has well over 2000 hours of service against it. I do agree it is a heavy saw but on my experiance you get what you pay for and tools are always about the guage of material they are made from. As tools go it is a portable saw. Its is not too heavy in our opinion and we dont believe they should be left out side to allow the elements to cause a failure. Our insurance carrier would deem that negligence.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KSS It works great!
The saw is extremely heavy so if you are able to use it on a work bench, the weight is not an issue. When I saw the size of the box when it was delivered, I thought, oh my, what have I bought. But, I love the it cuts wide lumber without having to turn the board around or lift the board up for it to cut. It works really well. I think the price is associated with the brand since there are others that are less expensive that can do the same thing. I am sold on the brand though.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kahuna This saw works wonderfully
We bought this saw mainly for putting in our new hardwood floors and trim. It has exceeded our expectations. I love the digital miter control, it operates smoothly, cleanly and accurately. I will using this in the future for many more projects that I thought I would not be able to construct myself.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ducttapeandbeer This saw is a MONSTER!
This saw is Awesome. From the digital read out to the power of the motor. It is large and heavy but sets on a very stable base. The saw was squared to the table right out of the box with the blade already on. This really was a "plug'n'go" saw. The hand grip is very comfortable and user friendly with a switch easily accessible for the LED lights. I did use the saw at night, using only the LED's to light my cut line. I was impressed. The miter has built in stops that are actually true and lock in with ZERO slop. The true power test for me was a cut across grain in a piece of 3" thick 6" wide white oak. It was like I was cutting a 1x4 piece of PINE! There was no power loss at all. It was a quick smooth cut. I've used most of the brands out there, and this is definitely the BEST.
The draw backs are: not a wide table, but due to the weight of the saw, anymore weight would not make this a portable saw. No hold downs and I wish the digital readout was on a switch, It is on the whenever the saw is plugged in.
