CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 91 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wow. WOW! Great tool! This is a really good tool. But my main reason for purchasing it was the built-in dust collection chutes. The entire saw is designed to funnel sawdust to the oversize port at the rear. Sure, the port is an odd shape, but 4" flex hose bends into an oval to fit perfectly over it (without need for an adapter), connecting the tool to the shop's central dust collection system. VERY VERY effective! Cons? Need to file off the nibs so the right-side fence can slide, and the digital readout backlight is always on. Oh, and this beast weighs a ton -- but that does help dampen any vibration. May 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by was looking at this saw for 6 months bought a house and it has been awesome for the renovations for my house. December 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent tool This saw with the stand is a dream to use. I would recommend to anyone! The LED light is excellent. August 28, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Must have got a lemon I am a carpenter with lots of experience with all major brands. I don't use Milwaukee tools but bought this saw because of lots of research. Many magazines and online reviews raved about it so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I set it up there were problems. The roller supports on the stand were welded completely out of square so that the supports were about 1/2" out of level and also about 1/2" out of square with the saw. I immediately called Home Depot and they said that in order to get a new stand I would have to send back the saw as well. I live about 2 hours from the nearest Home Depot so I decided that it was too much work and I would just buy a De Walt stand later. A few days later I put the saw to work. Table slides incredibly smooth for miter cuts. Rails seemed pretty smooth as well. I was building a deck with pressure treated 2 x 10. Very soft wood and easily cut. However , when I tried to take a 1/16" off of a board the blade would deflect and wander. It was literally impossible to make the cut on numerous blocks that I tried. I realize that it comes with a bad blade but even a blade that had chewed through nails should be able to do that cut. I also noticed a bit of side to side play in the head and an overall cheap feel to it. Needless to say I have returned it and will be purchasing either the Bosch or the De Walt 12". May 9, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Milwakee 12 sliding bevel saw Toss up between milwakee and dewalt .. Bought milwakee.....1st mistake. If I could return it would replace it with the dewalt. Right hand fence .. Cannot slide out . Noiser than Dewalt.... Borrowed a friends saw to do crown mouldings, his saw has crown moulding fence attachments which can be purchased from dewalt. Milwakee do not make any any extras for the saw .. Missing a trick. No way to put crown moulding fence like the dewalt... Beware if you plan to do crown mouldings save yourself money and time buy the dewalt. Hd any chance of swapping this for dewalt?????? Disappointed with this milwakee tool.ALL my other power tools are milwakee and are excellent .... April 5, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Was stuck between the milwaukee and rigid, decided to go with the milwaulkee brand since it came with a stand at no extra cost, and the price was right. I'm no pro in the wood business but for angles (especially with a wife who wants fancy designs) it performed great. The only thing I would suggest to Milwaukee is to put in a laser to see where you are cutting, that's why I've rated the saw a 4 star. July 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Yet another 5 star rating First Milwaukee tool I've ever purchased and it wont be the last. Saw sets up really easily. Once you have it on the the table it is very easy to transport, table works great. Dust collection works great. I have no complaints. Very accurate cuts, smooth operation. I expect this is the last Mitre saw I'll need to buy. I picked it up during the home depots $$ off tools event, it qualified for $125 off, no regrets. I've used it for a new fence, deck, hard wood floors, and now starting to install crown molding. April 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by awesome saw ive tried all brands of saws as i work doing renos and alot of crown moulding this saw is the best ive ever used, accurate cuts no wobble or wander.easy adjustments.smooth slide and the highest fence .and the longest cuts of all the major brands.well thought out gadjets, fine mitre adj,and the lights rather than a laser guide was a good decision, easy set up.and pretty light for its size 65 lbs saw and 40lbs stand.best saw ever hands down. cons the right side fence does not slide.but can be modified .
