Product Overview

The Milwaukee 13-Piece General-Purpose Hole Dozer Hole Saw Kit features Rip Guard teeth that were built with more steel behind the cutting edge for added strength. They give you increased productivity on the job site as well as better hole quality, and are backed by a limited lifetime tooth break warranty. The Hole Dozer comes with a Plug Jack, an all-access slot design that allows for full access during plug removal. The Plug Jack enables access lower into the cup for thick material and higher toward the teeth for thin material. Seems like the sizes would be front and center in a 13 piece multi bit set of drill bits/hole saws.. I guess we sometimes we can't see the forest thru the trees? I'm not sure if its H.D. or Milwaukee's responsibility, but someone ought to get the sizes more easily available on-line.

They are bi-metal and the included instructions list mild steel, stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum.
In my opinion, however, I would be cautious about using them on steel. Aluminum should be ok. I use them only on wood, so have no experience using on any metal.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hole dozer Made so easy to complete small jobs around the house. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A nice hole saw set I have a mix-match of different holes saws and decided to consolidate and standardize. This set is a good mix of sizes and includes two arbors. I like the "semi'-tool-less changeout ability with the larger arbor. The hole cutting blades cut well. I cut several holes through thin plastic walls in storage bins with not trouble whatsoever. Later I cut several different holes through some 2/4 plywood and did run into a couple of issues that were the result of cutting holes in plywood lying flat. The first problem was with all the holes, the cutters don't have chip-clearing grooves to help lift any sawdust out of the hole, so I had to drill a little, then lift the cutter our and blow the sawdust out of the hole. Otherwise the sawdust clogged the cutters and started to smoke and reduce the cutting efficiency of the blades. The second problem was with the smaller diameter cutters in the plywood. As I cut through the layers of the plywood it separated and began to spin, That, in conjunction with the clogged teeth created a lot of smoke. For both problems I had to pull the cutter out of the partially cut hole to clear sawdust and remove layers of plywood that separated during the drilling process. One of the things I like about the Milwaukee kit is the wide selection of additional sizes available on the shelf at Home Depot. July 19, 2016
