Product Overview

Don’t take a knife to a gunfight. The most rigorous jobs call for the most powerful and dependable tools, and Milwaukee delivers with this peppy 15 Amp circular saw. The motor cranks out 5200 RPM that will spin consistently even under duress; conversely, a quick shutdown is powered by an electric brake. Angular cuts are a cinch with 60° bevel capacity and a 3-13/16 in. depth-of-cut capacity at 90° allows for deep grooves. Count on the aircraft aluminum shoe to withstand warping or bending in extreme conditions.

  • Includes (1) 10-1/4 in. circular saw, (1) heavy-duty steel case, (1) 10-1/4 in. wood-cutting blade and (1) rip fence
  • Make angled cuts for joists, trusses and rafters with an adjustable bevel setting
  • Saw through nearly 4 in. of material in one swath
  • 12 ft. 2-wire cord
  • 5-year limited warranty

15 Amp 10-1/4 in. Circular Saw is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent saw Cuts a 4×4 in one swipe. 10" dimond blade cut over 100 feet of 3" thick concrete pavers and more need cut. I can say for sure that this is a "Beast" of a saw. My neighbors have borrowed the saw and were impressed with its speed and cutting capacity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Milwaukee 10.25-inch Circular Saw OK. A little background on what I do. I am not just a DIY'er or homeowner. I am a construction professional by trade and I do this for a living. It supports my family and I and is not just a hobby. I am a post and beam contractor that rebuilds and constructs period structures and find this saw fits in nicely between my large Makita 16" saw and my 7-1/4" saw. The 10 1/4" saws are much heavier than the 7-1/4" ones but this one comes with a cast aluminium base and a centred carrying handle. I use the saw mostly to cut 4X4 rough sawn lumber and it works very well. The reverse-surge motor brake is a plus. I tried cutting 6 by's in 2 passes and cannot believe the accuracy of the cut! This saw could give the same accuracy as my 16 but of course, it would take 2 passes. The saw shipped with a 28-tooth carbide all purpose blade. It wasn't a thin-kerf blade and that's nice because it shows that this saw has the power to cut through all that material. I swapped the blade after a few cuts for the Makita version and found little difference in performance. Again, very happy. Cheap saws may ship with a steel blade that is useless for anything except sheet metal and soft wood. Milwaukee do take pride. One other plus is that the saw is quiet, even with the 25000+ RPM, 3.1-horsepower motor. You still need hearing protection, though, as the saw starts to scream when it starts cutting into the material. All of the controls were intuitive, balance almost perfect, and attention to detail is everywhere. I compared the saw to others in its category and found that the Milwaukee felt better in hand, and had a solid feel to it, like closing the door of a Mercedes. It was pricey however. This tool will be in my employ for a very long. time. I gave it 4 stars because I am picky. Nothing is perfect, so here are my complaints: first, the guard tended to get snagged on compound miter cuts. Next, the dust shroud does not deflect enough of wet cuttings away from the cutting surface so you need to blow the cuttings away to see your cut line. It is fine with dry material, however. Perhaps part of the motor cooling exhaust could be re-directed onto the cut line to mitigate this problem, or a compressed-air line could be hooked up to this saw. Lastly, this saw really needs a reinforced base for all the weight it's bearing. I am afraid that the base might bend if the saw takes a very large fall. If you are looking for a quality tool that will make money for you, I strongly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality for a madie in China product I have used the saw for cutting 8 inch concrete blocks, and it has work flawlessly after cutting over 45 blocks. Has a long power cord, and comes in a well made steel tool box. Has plenty of power to cut thru thick materials. This is a heavy duty well made saw for a Chinese product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Portable table saw! Greatest big circ. saw. Front attachment of shoe/base came misassembled, line of cut was off 1/8"....simple fix, the lock washer goes under the nut, not in the area between the "yoke" and the magnesium saw body attachment extrusion, which is a mistake. I put a brass washer in place of the previous lock washer area and put a new lock washer under the it cuts 100% straight, cabinet making quality cuts. Even the Milwaukee parts diagram shows the lock washer under the nut. The design is perfect, just a tired or poorly trained worker in a Chinese respect and sympathy, the rest of the assembly is flawless, designed to be nail-tough, for life. The saw motor is essentially the same as a table saws, 5200 rpm, 3.1 HP. The supplied blade is a framing blade, not thin kerf, but not quite 1\8". It cuts very well, but is definetly a framing blade. Plan on at least a Diablo 40t level blade for "tricky" making redwood lumber into beveled picture frames for a picket fence. And consider 10" blades for economy, selection and this; eliminating the 1\4" blade diameter leaves 1/16" poking out of 4X material, dunno physics but faster cuts? Due to reduced mass? Plus perfect cut depth, no adjust 4 X saw weighs 17.8 lbs. (Scale and Website) w/o blade. Factory blade is just over 2 lbs. Another reason to go thin kerf. Base is Bomb-proof, No frilly web- like forged piece, like the Makita. A full 1/4" solid aluminum plate, brushed. The saw is not super loud, but makes a nice tone. The brake stops the blade so fast the saw almost lurches. I have not timed the brake, guesstimation...under 1 second, dead still blade. Just release the trigger. Compared to the Makita... Cuts faster. I got my hands on a big "Mak" at another store and cut 4X6 with it. Slow, but nice and straight. I read other reviews complaining of the washer misassembly, and I was prepared to fine tune the Milwaukee, because adjusted, it beats all other competitors in the same price range. Makita's bevel is 45° vs. Milwaukee- 60°. Makita has aluminum attachments, steel for Milwaukee...1/4" steel....cheaper, and way stronger in a fall, will never crack. The Makita's motor is slower, I think 4800 rpm. I read that other users of the Milwaukee have under AWG'd extension cords and burned out the motor. I constructed a 50ft, 6 AWG cord, and the saw rips fast and easy with the Diablo 40t. If you buy this saw, be serious. If you can't put the washer in, you probably should not handle big electric cutters! Get a 12 gauge extension cord up to 50', 8 gauge to 75'. I build custom fences and transport my self and saw with a bicycle and trailer, hence the portable table saw title above. It is a worthy investment. Super happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product worked as well as I had hoped. I was working with 6"X8" lumber and needed a beefy saw to end cut each beam. It took two passes to do the work, but the saw handled it and the cut was smooth with the supplied blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent saw My business works with oak planks up to 3.5 inches thick and the saw cuts fast and very cleanly even with the included combo blade. The saw is well balanced for its size. Its very quick to change depth or angle of cut.
