CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 68 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Saw Ever I am a custom home builder based out of BC Canada, I have used this saw since day one and i would never want to use another saw. It has been dropped from the roof of a 2 story home, and it still works like its brand new. now i wouldnt advise doing that, but the saw tan defenitly take a beating. It cuts accuratly, evenly, and the depth gauges are very easy to read. The Tilt Loc option is very handy to have, especially after your used to it. Once you buy this saw, youll never need to buy another. November 21, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Milwaukee saw I purchased this saw in January, 2008. I'm not in the trades but as an avid DIY'er I realized that I had reached the point in my DIY career where I needed something more solid, dependable and precise. This saw is everything I expected and more....it is a tool which will last you a lifetime and render excellent service in the process. Like any high quality, durable item, this saw ain't cheap but it's worth every penny. I'm glad I bought it and I highly recommend it. June 24, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by good saw for either the contractor or the backyard guy November 27, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best circular saw I am a homeowner. My old circular saw was an inexpensive entry level model that was loud and inaccurate. It worked when precision didn't really matter - like cutting up debris or scrap. I purchased $1,000 worth of deck lumber and decided to get a new circular saw. My due dilligence indicated that this Milwaukee was the right one for me - it is listed in Consumers Reports as the number one pick. I have another Milwaukee tool - a Sawzall that is probably more than 50 years old (older than me) and it is strong and durable. Milwaukee makes tools for trades who put tools to work to make a living and don't have time to fool around with inaccurate and awkward equipment. I started cutting with the Milwaukee Tilt Loc on the weekend. It is amazing. Quiet and strong. The aluminum base is wide - exactly 5" to the blade on the left side and this is stamped right on the saw, no more fooling with a tape trying to guess the base width. The saw is heavier than my old one, but it only took a few minutes to get used to it. The tilt lock mechanism may be a bit of a gimmick. I doubt that I will ever use it. I made several cuts to warm up. The saw is amazing at 90 degrees and the bevel tilt past 45 degrees works very well. There is plenty of room to see the blade through the base. By the end of the weekend I was very comfortable with the saw - I made several free hand cuts to make 1/4 and 3/8 " shims. The final test was turning it over to Dad for his thoughts. He didn't like my old one and always brought his own circular saw to work on my projects. He thought it was great - the next day, while working on his own, he picked up the Milwaukee first and left his saw in the truck. This saw is a winner. Don't think about the price. Just buy it. You will have a tool that will last your life time and perhaps the lifetime of another fellow. Buy the right tool - this is your next and probably last circular saw. September 11, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by Incredible I build outdoor projects as a side job and it keeps me very busy. Yesterday I went to grab my old circular saw and the metal housing was broke and fell apart. I purchased this Milwaukee 6390-21 and "Wow", cut great, not very loud and has the powerful to plow through wet, treated lumber. The blade adjustment and plate tilt are easy to use and lock tight. The tilt handle makes a huge difference in comfort level. Very impressed with this saw. September 21, 2014
