Yes, a molded case that protects the saw quite well, though it doesn't allow for any real additional storage, as it's form-fitted.

Answer:
Yes, it comes with a typical Milwaukee plastic case. There is little room in the case for anything beside the saw. If you're careful you can also get a pack of blades in it. The blades must be removed from the saw for it to fit. Fortunately, the saw has a quick blade release so this is not a major problem.

Answer:
I think it's just the extra power that it brings. The first thing I used my sawzall for required cutting through 2x6 boards but also additional bracing below them that I could not see. The 15 amp did not get hung up on anything and cut through all the material that I was demolishing. I have bought lower amp products (like drills) and found the extra power made a big difference.

15 amp saw has longer stroke, 1-1/4" over 1-1/8" Orbital cut option, lifts blade on reverse stroke for faster cut & longer blade life. 15 amp has more power, never had it stall.

The higher power normally gives more working power. The down side is that you have to be careful to provide adequate power by using a large gauge extension cord.

There is no "Made in ----" label on the saw. It just lists Milwaukee Electric Tool Company in Wisconsin. I therefore assume it is American made. Furthermore, the instruction book says it's printed in the USA. That gives me further reason to assume that it's American made.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 74 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best saw in the arsonal. I don't get why so many people complain about the waight of the tool. Its not heavy. While I did buy it with the intent of using it to take down branches, wood cutting and some steal. Intentions are never the result. I use it a lot in automotive repairs. Exahust and in cutting steal. In car repair as you know, you find your self in odd ways, this tool, while big, fits perfect and cuts through even the hardest of steal. I do recommend getting a good set of blades that fits the job you are going to do! Don't think one blade fits all jobs. October 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Really Good Purchase...REALLY! My older reciprocating saw was just not up to the task of taking down our screened in porch with metal roof, but the contractor's bid was just outrageous. I spent twenty percent of his bid on this saw which was on sale. My wife and I had it down in short order. Then she saw that I had a few wood blades and I spent the rest of the day pruning and taking down trees around the house. Thank goodness I only have a hundred foot cord. This saw can certainly outwork me...and it's lighter than my old one. October 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is the best of the rest. This tool can't be beat on power and durability. Works harder and longer than employees on 12 shifts. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great saw but a little heavy. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome I first used this saw to cut steel electrical boxes out of my house's wall. I had to cut through a piece of 1/8 inch steel. After cutting the first box out, I had to double check that it was actually attached with a metal flange. It was, but the saw cut through it like it was only cutting though drywall. Subsequently I have used it to cut out and replace old deck boards and cut down some small trees. It has performed great so far. The quick blade changing feature works well. October 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best saw They lowered the price so this is an excellent deal at $149. Had my last one for 20 years left it on the floor during Sandy and the house filled up with 6 inches water. The only thing that can kill this saw is salt water. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent saw This saw has excellent directions for safe use, It took on a heavy duty job with ease. Anyone can use October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Large and In Charge for serious Pros and DIY'ers LOOK NO FUTHER: Assembled in the USA, 15A of power and a variable switch makes this thing awesome. The 8' cord is great. It comes with a nice plastic case with metal clasps. It has serious power and will cut through a 4x4 in a few seconds. Easy to handle. It's a real tool, if you're looking for something that's light weight or small, this may not be for you. But if you need something that'll get the job done, this is ALL you need. This is a tool everyone, especially contractors of all trades, should own. It actually FEELS like a quality and reliable tool. And it looks good! If you want to look like a Pro, then act like a pro! Buy this thing right now and stop looking for anything else. This is it! Don't skip out on the 15A with less AND at least it was Assembled here in the USA with US and foriegn parts! THAT IS ALWAYS A HUGE PLUS. Let's get it done. Buy this, look no further. One thing: I do wish the case had a little extra room to easily hold a few dozen blades, but I may cut some space in it.
