Yes, a molded case that protects the saw quite well, though it doesn't allow for any real additional storage, as it's form-fitted.

Answer:
Yes, it comes with a typical Milwaukee plastic case. There is little room in the case for anything beside the saw. If you're careful you can also get a pack of blades in it. The blades must be removed from the saw for it to fit. Fortunately, the saw has a quick blade release so this is not a major problem.

Answer:
I think it's just the extra power that it brings. The first thing I used my sawzall for required cutting through 2x6 boards but also additional bracing below them that I could not see. The 15 amp did not get hung up on anything and cut through all the material that I was demolishing. I have bought lower amp products (like drills) and found the extra power made a big difference.

15 amp saw has longer stroke, 1-1/4" over 1-1/8" Orbital cut option, lifts blade on reverse stroke for faster cut & longer blade life. 15 amp has more power, never had it stall.

The higher power normally gives more working power. The down side is that you have to be careful to provide adequate power by using a large gauge extension cord.

There is no "Made in ----" label on the saw. It just lists Milwaukee Electric Tool Company in Wisconsin. I therefore assume it is American made. Furthermore, the instruction book says it's printed in the USA. That gives me further reason to assume that it's American made.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by same price as 13 amp I have a 13 amp which is over 18 years old. When I was going to replace the 13 amp since it gets hot after constant running I saw the 15 amp for the same price. No hesitation on which one to choose and purchase. Runs fantastic and remains cool after the constant running cycle. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great saw for a decent price Purchased to replace a Makita that stopped working. Seems well built and has very low vibration. Came with a nice plastic cary case. Home Depot shipped it out extremely fast and arrived in good condition. The price was amazing. August 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great quality I'm very please with my purchase. I was in need of this tool and I pick the right brand and size. Easy to use and very practical to store. I have always trust the tools at the Home depot and their customer service. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just comment this product is very powerful and good usable. it is a professional useage. but price is a little bit high. May 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Sawzall, but Milwaukee is not what it used to be This is a really good Sawzall, probably the best on the market. Very smooth, powerful, like the orbital feature. I typically use my Sawzall one handed, and my DeWalt shook the heck out of me. The Milwaukee is much better balanced. That said, Milwaukee is not what it used to be. Owned by the same company that makes Rigid and Ryobi. Compared to the older models, this one does not have the quick-detach power cord or the metal box. The plastic blow-molded box is small, fragile and cracks after prolonged exposure to UV. The old metal boxes were great, I'm looking for one now to hold my new saw. February 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product powerful and well built...very easy to operate this is great saw !!! January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by beast of a sawzall When I worked demolition for remodeling old houses this was my tool of choice. Amazing power and durability! Use along with Diablo carbide blades and you'll be cutting threw anything in your way. Great job again Milwaukee! Must buy tool. December 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cuts anything and gives you a free workout. I have this saw and the 15 amp Makita reciprocating saw as well. Both are true beasts. Milwaukee cuts slightly faster on orbital setting but vibrates more. If you get it stuck be careful it doesn't rip your arms out of the sockets. It's that powerful! Wish it had a larger metal case like the Makita but at least it's a case and not a "contractor bag". October 18, 2015
