Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great saw for many uses This is such a great saw for pretty much any job due to its durability, ease of use, and power. I really liked the fact that it is much quieter than other worm drives that I have used. The first time I used it, the blade flew through the wood like a hot knife through butter. All in all, this saw should last me for a long time. July 5, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Saw I am impressed by the power of the saw. The saw is amazingly quiet. I like the blade being on the left side for seeing what you are cutting. It does take a few cuts to get used to the blade position and weight. overall it seems to be a quality tool. I was disappointed to see a made in china tag on a electric Milwaukee tool. The saw base is made of a composite material, it works great now only time will tell. For the price you can't beat it, I would have paid double for one made in America, like the older Milwaukee Worm drive saws, made to last a lifetime. Just my opinion for whatever it is worth. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great saw I really like this saw. The blade is on the left side which makes watching your line much easier. It turns at a slower RPM than direct drive saws, but it has much better torque and an added bonus is that it is MUCH quieter. It is heavy though, so overhead cuts would be challenging. When cutting sheets of plywood the saw cuts straight with little effort and the large platform keeps the saw stable. There's also a hook built onto the body for hanging it up for storage or to keep it out of the way. I'm glad I bought it and I think it will be the last saw I'll need to buy because of the build quality. June 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worm drive circular saw Absolutely amazing piece of equipment. Is doing exactly what I need it to do! February 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by high quality worm drive saw Milwaukee has always been my favorite brand of tools. When I searched the reviews for a quality worm drive saw, the Milwaukee 15 amp saw came up as the best choice. Although it is a bit heavier than other worm drive saws, it has lots of power and cuts a straight line with ease. It handles and tracks good. It is perfect for someone who occasionally needs a good quality saw that will last for years. If I was a professional framer that used the saw all day, I might consider a lighter saw. However, It can take the more abuse than other saws can. January 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The perfect saw at the perfect price. Cuts without bogging down. Heavy enough to be stable but light enough to use for hours without being burden on the arms. Only thing they missed here is a storage case. Milwaukee does one with everything else so I'm not sure why the skimped here. September 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bad to the bone i am the son of a contractor and independent handyman. i have been around and used circular saws for around 30 years. This is the quietest most powerful and sturdy saw I have ever used. the first day I got it i put a brand new blade on it and ripped a 2X4. It went the full length of the board on track matching the guide. It seemed as if it was pulling me down the board. It didn't bog down at all. Didn't trip my breaker. it just powered right through. I like mine so much i bought my dad one too. He has been contracting for 50 years. He loves it. he doesn't do nearly as much as you used too but he truly loves a good quality tool to mess around with in his shop. We love them. I have had mine for a bout 6 months. he has had is about a month. Thanks for the quality tool.. July 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Saw Nicely designed saw with plenty of power. Cuts straight. Depth and angle adjustments are easy to make and the scales are marked which is a real convenience. Definitely on the heavy side but it is well balanced and easy to control. The one design feature I don't care for is the Allen Wrench used to remove the blade nut. I am worried that the bolt will strip out over time. I think a conventional wrench would have been a better choice. My only disappointment is the lack of a storage case. If I leave this in the back of my truck it will take a beating. June 10, 2013
