Boasting nylon blade protection and a 5-point reinforced frame, they offer up to ten times longer blade life than other designs by resisting contamination wear and increasing protection when dropped. To improve productivity on the job site, this tape measure features an innovative dual magnets design, which securely attaches to EMT sticks from below and steel studs in front. An additional distinctive feature is the finger stop, which protects your finger when the blade retracts, so you can count on safe, worry-free use every time.

  • Finger stop protects finger during blade retraction
  • Dual magnets prevent roll-off when measuring steel studs, EMT and threaded rod
  • Blueprint scale calculates 1/4 in. and 1/8 in. drawings

do you have a replacement for a tape that has a slight break in it

I have a 25' tape that i recently purchased and just after a short while, less than a month, the tape cracked at the 6" mark. What can i do to repair/replace this item. thanks ken
Asked by: KenA
By the time you purchase a replacement tape, you might as well purchase a new tape measure. Although a bit more expensive, a heavy tape measure will last much longer and pays for itself over the long haul.

I have more than a few Milwaukee tapes, and none of mine have the actual fractional equivalent of each tick mark printed on the tape.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy it Tape broke after one month of daily use.i am a professional plumber who has many other milwaukee tools that work great.this tape not only broke but the thing was getting so hard to read because it would not stay clean because of the type of coating on the tape.it also started rusting.the worst part is that the home Depot won't exchange it.has to be sent back to Milwaukee .I guess this is my last milwaukee tape!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thoughtful features make this a must have If you're like me, you probably think most tape measures are the same. While that's generally true this tape measure, in addition to having the standard features of others, has a few bonus features that I feel set it apart. Worth noting: - Magnetic end means it sticks to wall studs as well as your fridge (if you're trying to measure from one end of the kitchen to another) - The tape itself is semi-textured nylon, almost like a very rigid fabric which means it doesn't seem to have the tendency to fold or buckle like other aluminum tape measures I've had. - Finger stop: You can retract the tape measures with no fear of pinching fingers or slamming the end. Worth spending a little extra to get these thoughtful features.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It was ok until... I bought this tape less then 3 months ago for measuring lumber at my work I haven't used it excessively. First thing I noticed that the metal end is to big and the metal not strong enough so it's bending and throws off measurements constantly second the bottom isn't really all that flat so it likes to tumble over when ur trying to use it. And then today it just ripped in half it got a small tear not even sure how and then it didn't even last the rest of the day just done . And speaking to others I work with the same thing has happened to them to with the Milwaukee. I wouldn't recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 25'&30' tape measures I bought both tapes. They both broke with less than 30 day use. I do construction work. They do not hold up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 25-Foot Milwaukee Magnetic Tape Measure Doesn't Hold Up to the Mark Saw it on sale and thought it would be a nice addition to my tool box, but was wrong. Biggest flaw is that it doesn't stand up when the blade is extended and you lock the blade. So when measuring wood and other non-metallic products (like sheet rock), the body of the ruler rolls over, causing the end of the tape to detach from the edge of the object you are measuring. Guess it would be a much better tool if I was working with metal products. Going back to my old Stanlely 25-footer.
