Frequently Bought Together

Product Overview

The Milwaukee Hole Dozer Hole Saw features Rip guard, the strongest tooth form in the industry, backed by the Rip guard limited lifetime tooth break warranty. Each tooth is built with more steel behind the cutting edge for added strength. The Rip Guard warranty on tooth breaks is a first for the hole saw industry. The added tooth strength along with 8% cobalt give added life to the teeth, allowing for increased productivity on the jobsite, as well as continued hole quality. The Hole Dozer includes Plug Jack, an all access slot design that allows for full access during plug removal. The Plug Jack gives access lower into the cup for thick material and higher towards the teeth for thin material. With multiple positions to apply leverage and better plug access, Plug Jack increases productivity and eliminates wasted downtime between holes. For fast, tool-free change-outs, use Milwaukee's universal Quick-Change Arbors. 49-56-7210, 49-56-7240, 49-56-7250 and 49-56-9100.

Answer:
Yes, the Hole Dozer can cut through thick steel, even I-beams. For thick steel low RPM with generous cutting fluid/wax is recommended.

Can I use this hole saw in drill press to cut thru Clear Extruded Acrylic Plexiglass Sheet 3/8 inch thick?
If yes, then what speed is recommended, 600 RPM or lower? Should I use any fluids to reduce generated heat? Thanks, Max

Answer:
Yes it will but take it slow so not to crack the material. Some persons run the drill in reverse after the center bit is through to cut without digging into the material, the more teeth you have on a bit (finer cut blade) is what you need to cut such materials.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Second time is the charm. This is the second of these that I purchased within a one year time frame. I was using the product on a Delta Drill press when the first one began to dull while cutting through 3/4" pine boards after only cutting 12 holes and not in succession. I noticed that the hole saw had minor cracks on the side of it so I stopped. I replaced it with a new one and have, since cut 16 holes with out a problem. I would recommend this product to both Beginner and pro. July 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hole saw Had to cut metal and 3/4" plywood behind it. The bit got hot as hadees, but kept cutting without dulling. Made several holes and the bit is as Sharp az when I opened package. Great hole saw! February 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good! I needed to drill two holes, 2 3/8 inches each, to attach PVC pipe connectors to a wood chip/dust collector for my shop vacuum. This hole saw was perfect for the job. July 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked in less than ideal situation The hole saw worked well in some extremely "sappy" cedar from a tree recently cut down. It loaded up with sap every so often. So, I just kept a bucket of warm water with dish detergent in it nearby and would dunk the hole saw in that from time to time. I drilled four fairly deep holes with it. June 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I've completed a lot of projects with it,still going strong Simple to assemble a valued investment. I would use this product again. July 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Product The hole saw went right through my hardwood and left a nice and clean cut. July 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lasted 4 1/2 Holes Used this to drill through lathe and plaster and only lasted 4 1/2 holes which didn't make me very happy for the price. Bought a cheap version at Harbor Freight that did the same job. July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hole Saw Started out fairly well with drilling the first hole. Does not keep it's sharpness as it is used, it was worthless after 3 holes drilled, i had to purchase a 2nd one to finish the job. To pricey for it use - looking for different brand. July 12, 2016
