Product Overview

The Milwaukee Hole Dozer Hole Saw features Rip guard, the strongest tooth form in the industry, backed by the Rip guard limited lifetime tooth break warranty. Each tooth is built with more steel behind the cutting edge for added strength. The Rip Guard warranty on tooth breaks is a first for the hole saw industry. The added tooth strength along with 8% cobalt give added life to the teeth, allowing for increased productivity on the jobsite, as well as continued hole quality. The Hole Dozer includes Plug Jack, an all access slot design that allows for full access during plug removal. The Plug Jack gives access lower into the cup for thick material and higher towards the teeth for thin material. With multiple positions to apply leverage and better plug access, Plug Jack increases productivity and eliminates wasted downtime between holes. For fast, tool-free change-outs, use Milwaukee's universal Quick-Change Arbors. 49-56-7210, 49-56-7240, 49-56-7250 and 49-56-9100.

Answer:
Since this is a bi-metal hole saw, it would probably work using a drill at slow speed and spraying some lubricant on it.

Answer:
Yes, but only if you clamp or otherwise secure (with double-stick tape or screws) a piece of scrap wood behind the existing hole, to provide a surface for the center drill bit to start the new larger hole. The center drill bit must be long enough to penetrate the backing board through the thickness of the cabinet.

Yes. As long as you put a piece of scrap wood behind the hold for the guide bit to use.

Answer:
To enlarge the existing hole the larger hole 2-3/8” saw would need to be centered in the 1” hole, the 1/4” pilot bit will not allow this. We recommend that you trace the desired hole diameter around the existing hole and use a jigsaw or a keyhole saw to cut the larger hole diameter.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Second time is the charm. This is the second of these that I purchased within a one year time frame. I was using the product on a Delta Drill press when the first one began to dull while cutting through 3/4" pine boards after only cutting 12 holes and not in succession. I noticed that the hole saw had minor cracks on the side of it so I stopped. I replaced it with a new one and have, since cut 16 holes with out a problem. I would recommend this product to both Beginner and pro. July 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hole saw Had to cut metal and 3/4" plywood behind it. The bit got hot as hadees, but kept cutting without dulling. Made several holes and the bit is as Sharp az when I opened package. Great hole saw! February 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked in less than ideal situation The hole saw worked well in some extremely "sappy" cedar from a tree recently cut down. It loaded up with sap every so often. So, I just kept a bucket of warm water with dish detergent in it nearby and would dunk the hole saw in that from time to time. I drilled four fairly deep holes with it. June 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good! I needed to drill two holes, 2 3/8 inches each, to attach PVC pipe connectors to a wood chip/dust collector for my shop vacuum. This hole saw was perfect for the job. July 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by works great this hole saw cut through the stainless plate quickly w/ just a little cutting oil to keep the heat down. January 20, 2015
