Use the Milwaukee 2 in. Bi-Metal Hole Saw to cut holes in a variety of materials. The steel hole saw can drill almost 2 in. deep. Milwaukee Ice Hardened products utilize a proprietary cryogenic hardening process that improves upon traditional heat treat processes. Unlike surface coatings that wear away, cryogenics harden to the core by minimizing soft metal (austenite) and creating more hard metal (martensite). The result is a product that is more consistently hard throughout, resulting in life up to 50% longer than the competition.

  • 1/2 in. chuck size

Rated 4 out of 5 by Worked Well Reasonable quality. Drilled through a number of holes thru an older truck body to route pipes & wires when converting it to a trailer. Worth the money. Cut slow & don't "force" the saw too hard & you should get lasting saw use. I didn't use any cutting oil but I would suspect the tips to last a little longer when combined with some cutting oil. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hole Saw We use these to cut through all types of metal. Good life but they don't last forever. They are a blade and will dull with continuous use. Have not compared to Lennox or other brands as all we use are Milwaukee hole saws. May 27, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by DID NOT CUT IT Purchased it to drill a 2" hole in 16gauge stainless; which the insert states it is good for, at low rpms. Built a dam out of plumbers putty, flooded it with oil, used low rpm's. First 30 seconds I got shavings then smoke ten minutes later nothing more then a scored area. Grabbed a 1 1/2", 25 year old, used, rust spotted, Lenox I had lying around (it was my dad's so inherited too) 40 seconds later I had a hole in a scrape piece. did not even use oil. Off to Home Depot for a return then to their competition to buy a Lenox. April 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by It worked perfectly I needed a hole in my electrical box, and the hole saw did the trick. April 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty good for the money. Great price, and it's holding up about as well as expected. It should get me through at least another project before it dulls too much. If you don't need it for more than a few dozen holes it's the one to buy. If you need something for heavier use, I'd spend a little more. January 14, 2014
