Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst tape measure I bought A pair of Milwaukee 25ft tape measure and they both broke within a month and they say a lifetime warranty but you have to go thru the manufacturer homedepot doesn't exchange them so stick with craftsman of husky you have to pay out of your pocket to send them in and you need to send in your receipt doesn't make sense to offer lifetime warranty if they can't do anything worst produce ever 1 broke at the 5 ft mark and the other broke at the tip doesn't make sense to buy a $35 tape measure and not be able to swap it out it its defective in that case go to harbor fright and get a cheap tape measure with there lifetime warranty no questions asked to swap them out

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Frustrated I bought this tape after using a friends and noticing the different features in the design. After using it for some time now I have to say I am a bit frustrated with the round shape of the base of the tape body. When I extend the tape and lock it, the tape will not stand on its own. It constantly falls over and off the board. I also feel confused in some measuring situations due to the oversized hook. The 1/4"and 3/4" lines in the first inch need to be highlighted some how, it is impossible to locate 5/16 or 11/16 etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money I've worked in construction for the last 15 years and had my hand on about every tape made and none of them compare to this new Milwaukee magnetic tape. Just looking at it you can tell it's made to hold up. I'm currently working at a chemical company that uses salt in there product and everything that's metal will start to rust this tape won't the coating used on it protects it from everything and you can actually feel it. I dropped it on the concrete from 20 ft and nothing not hardly a scratch I saw a Stanley fall the other day and bust in half. My last tape was a bostich and the clip wouldn't stay on the screw kept stripping but this tape has a heavy duty clip with 3 screws so it won't just fall off. This tape is worth every penny unless you like buying tape measures all the time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't Stand Up to the Elements I've had this tape since October, and it started off great. Looks great, big blade, and having markings on the bottom is helpful. That being said, I started having problems with it in mid to late December. Once the blade got wet and wound up it started having trouble winding itself and I had to physically force the blade to retract. I took it apart about once every two weeks to remind the spring. The blade also started deteriorating at that time too. The edges started to peel and the blade looked like it was rusting even though it's a vinyl blade. In the last week of January the blade stopped coming out of the case and after yanking on the blade it came out to reveal a nick on the 1 foot mark. I had to force it in again and when I forced it out again the nick was 3/4's of the way through the blade. It completely seperated shortly thereafter. TL;DR: Nice looking, works great as long as you keep it out of the elements.
