Customer Reviews

3/8 in. Thunderbolt Oxide Drill Bit is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than other drill bits at HD I was hesitant to use these black oxide bits because of the cheaper price versus other drill bits. I use this bit specifically for drilling metal. The bit still is sharp enough to keep drilling more holes. Expensive titanium bits I've used go dull fast, but this material is strong enough to hold up to metal drilling. If as (super speed) metal drilling bits are not available these work well enough in a pinch... Just remember to drill slowly and use drilling lube and these will work great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from making hard job easy The drill bit was used to drill two holes in a furniture panel of a computer amoire that I had to re drill to accomodate a larger monitor than it was dezigned for. It did the job without walking and my amoire is assembled and working fine.
