Customer Questions & Answers

How do u actually release it

Asked by: sac
The way to release it is....not to screw the saw on tight in the first place.Instead, screw the saw on nearly all the way,but still loose, and then simply slide the locking pins into the shoulder of the saw.The locking pins in the shoulder provide extra torque in use. Afterwards, using no tools, simply pull the locking pins out from the shoulder of the saw, and, because the saw was not tightened hard up to the stock of the arbor,it is now easily unscrewed.

are milwawakee and dewalt arbors interchangeble

do milwawkee holesaws accept the 2 pins that come with dewalt arbors
Asked by: Anonymous
I bought a Milwaukee arbor and it attached to my drill just like ANY other drill bit or driver. So Yes, it will connect to a different drill, however, a Milwaukee hole-saw attachment MAY NOT necessarily attach to another companies arbor. So while the arbor itself will attach to another companies drill, vice versa, I don't know if the bits will connect to different model arbors.

3/8 in. Twist-Release Hole Saw Arbor is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, Secure, and Smart! The perfect tool for Hole Saws! Milwaukee does it again! The Twist-Release Hole Saw Arbor is a MUST HAVE for anyone that needs to use hole saws. Whether it be for wood or metal, this adapter is a must have for anyone! The Arbor quickly attaches to your Milwaukee drill with a confident and secure click. Depending on the size Arbor you buy, you can fit a wide-range of Hole Saws onto it. This one will fit up to a 3/8 IN. I bought a 7/8 IN. Hole Saw and screwed it onto the Arbor. CLICK! That sound told me it was secure. I used the Hole Saw and then used the simple twist-and-release feature to unlock it. THIS IS A MUST HAVE for anyone that has to use hole saws. Thanks!
