I have used many hole saws in my 35 years as a carpenter / handy-person. INCLUDING Milwaukee hole saws. This one has a new tooth design (new to me) that cuts like it was a freshly sharpened chain saw. No ripping or tearing, just a fast aggressive cut. Then add the new stepped feature for removing the hole plug. I don't know how many hours I have spent trying to dig the wood 'hole' out of my old hole saws. What a pain! This one has a stepped set up where it is so easy to reach into the side of the saw... stepping a screw driver around - bumping up and up until the 'hole' is removed from the saw. Someone was really thinking when they came up with this hole saw. I can see why they call it a "Dozer".

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dingdong2 Perfect hole saw, cuts great and easy to clean out after each cut.
The saw is easy to use and cleans easily too. I also came back and purchase a two and a half saw after that purchase.

Milwaukee Tool has a great history of creating great products... too bad they've moved some manufacturing out of the country, but that seems to be the norm these days. But if you want a great quality circle saw, this is the one to buy if you can keep it in your tool box! Over the years I have purchased some cheapie circle saws and thrown them out, one after another. So far I think I own a dozen different sizes, from 3/4" up and they LAST. They also cut through metal, my toughest test, and they can move through plastic or wood with ease, then go back to steel including frames on cars. When you buy a circle saw, it is usually for one purpose, but these can be used for MANY things.

the bit and hole saw cut one hole through 3/4" sheetrock, then would not cut one hole through 3/8" hardi board. completely ground down the teeth trying. so, not suitable for hardi board. bi-metal; maybe ?
