5 M/16 ft. Magnetic Tape Measure is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Replaced with 48-22-7216. The 48-22-5216 was an amazing tape, unfortunately it was recplaced with the 48-22-7216. The new one does not have the magnet under the end, which was the best feature of the 48-22-5216. Home Depot has yet to update the page with new photos or Model Number.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tape Definitely the best tape measure I have ever owned. The magnet on the end is strong and the rigidity of the tape itself makes measuring things by yourself really easy. I recommend them to everyone on my crew.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've been looking for this for a long time! This is by far the best tape measure on the market, p... I've been looking for this for a long time! This is by far the best tape measure on the market, period! This is very similar to the professional grade yellow plastic with black rubber inlays just like the American-made Craftsman professional tape measure I had, but Craftsman doesn't make tape measures anymore so I was on the hunt for something just as hard-core durable. This new Milwaukee tape measure is extremely well designed and engineered! Crazy durable and ergonomic, the metal belt clip is awesome. The tape itself is the best I've ever seen and used. I was looking specifically for one which had imperial and metric measurements on both top and bottom of the tape. The top is yellow with both inches and centimeters, and the bottom is white with inches in centimeters and an architectural scale. You can get this model with the magnet or without, I chose to get it with. Originally I thought I was too bulky but now it's just fine. I purchase a 16 foot for everyday use and a 26 foot four around the house. I have a lot to European products, vehicles and brands so metric measurements are a necessity. If you're into fashion or cycling or have European brand products metric is a must and there's no point in having two separate tape measures to do the samejob. I also measure things that I sell and offer the measurements in inches and centimeters and it makes it a cinch, this tape is like a taylor's tape and that's exactly what I wanted in a tape measure all in a hard-core package!!! And this is exactly what the designers and engineers at Milwaukee created here, my hats off to them :) These specific tapes with imperial and metric are not sold in stores, Home Depot carries the standard ones in Imperial only. I ordered these on Home I got a great deal at the MSRP. Here on Amazon the sellers have them way overpriced. There's only one negative, I would like to see a more sturdier and better tape stop designed. If you want just one tool that can do it all this is it, I absolutely love it! So thank you Milwaukee for producing such a great product all I ask is just to make it more readily available and to supply proper photographs of the actual tape for the meters/feet tape measures so the consumer knows exactly what they're getting. If you're from Europe and you need metric and inches in one tool this is a must get! I also would like to see this made in a smaller more compact 12" pocket sized version.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money Milwaukee people, You will not like what I will right below, At our cabinet shop we have two machines using the metric, so I have to get a tape has metric. Used to have the Husky, but it is discontinued, any way I got for myself TWO of those tapes on line since in California home depot does not carry it on stores. Purchase date was December 2013, the first one last 5 Month, the tape broke and was too sharp, even though the hosing holding very good still almost new but the tape itself cracked and separated. So I got the 2nd one out of the packaging, and this one lasted from May to October same thing happened same crack. Home depot did not exchanged it on store because they do not have similar item on store, so I have to call the on line service and pay for two new ones and will refund the price of old ones after picking the broken tapes from the store. The on line rep was very polite and understanding, and also offered me a gift cert. 80% of our hand tools are Milwaukee, It was a very surprising that Milwaukee carry this kind of quality, Pross : the housing is very sturdy, tape color very good and readable, light weight, double sided numbers. Cons: flimsy and bad tape material did not last 5 month for inside shop usage Locks not working from day one, it was sooo annoying it retraces back after locking. I had to get two of the 26 feet this time may be will have better luck, and also for the good review, also no other brand at the market offers metric at double sided. (Stanly tape with metric more lighter and not extended on the air as Milwaukee)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best 16 foot tape on the market This tape measure out performs any other tape on the market. It is built to hold up on any construction project as well as fine wood working. The tape is able to hold straight without losing strength for an 8-10 foot run in mid air. This tape also never gets kinks in it like competitors. This tape is built to last and I highly recommend. Milwaukee really holds up to its name with this 16 ft tape!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top select If you really want a tape measure from the top of the line. This is the right one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't drop it. The oversized, lightweight tip bends easily and then forget about accurate measurements. I didn't want one side metric but bought the tape measure anyways since Home Depot Canada didn't stock the all imperial version. This turned out to be a mistake and a huge headache. I now use the tape measure as a paper weight in my office.
