I just need to make a small hole (doesn't have to be pretty) so a cord can go through. The description says it's for drywall and plaster so not sure if it will work for 1/4" plywood (backing for a cabinet). Thanks.

Answer:
The teeth are really designed for plaster wall, but I am sure it will cut a small hole in 1/4" plywood. That said, have you considered using a hole drill bit instead? it will be much easier to make a hole in less time than using this tool.

Nice, sharp blade that cuts through dry wall exactly like it's supposed to. I put 3-stars because there's nothing bad about it, but nothing exceptional about it either. It just does its job.
