Can this be used to cut CPVC pipe?

One of the blades is multi-purpose and should be able to cut

will one of the 3 blades that come with the milwaukee folding jab saw cut ceramic tile

Asked by: Anonymous
Probably not. Try a diamond grit blade ...but really you should buy/borrow/rent an electric tile saw. You will save SO much time and energy and get better results. I would never cut tile with a hand saw.

my blade fell out how do I get it back

Use the black button near the front to replace (or change) blades. A little tricky at first, but once you do it, it is easy and fast.

The package indicated by way of iconography that the saw could cut through metal, but the screw won the battle, I'm afraid.

This is possibly the best. I haven't owned it long enough to know how long it will last (about a month), but as an electrician, I use these tools a lot and this works well. The blade-changing mechanism is simple, the blades seem pretty secure and the folding mechanism is good too. I like that it is shaped well; it feels good in my hand. In addition, it is slimmer than the Lenox version, so it it easier to store in my tool pouch. I would definitely recommend it. Other recommendations: Don't buy the Greenlee version. It's plastic, too long, and a pain to adjust. The Lenox should be awesome since it is all-metal construction. The big problem is that it has 1 little metal "stub" which helps to hold the blade in place and that always wear out after a year or less. It is bigger than the Milwaukee, but it doesn't feel as good in my hand.

It uses the same blades as the Sawzall, and the blade can be folded when not in use. The blade stays locked in use and the handle has a good grip. I keep it in the M18 Sawzall case and use it mostly when doing remodel plumbing work with PVC and CPVC pipe in tight spaces.

The saw is tucked inside so you avoid accidentally getting cut and it's a great tool to work in tight places where you might not want to use an electric tool. I highly recommend the tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Has much more potential great for sheet-rock work but i mostly use it for hunting and trimming brush. but the handle needs to be longer to accommodate the pruning blades or you need to produce a pruning blade to fit the handle. for now I've been cutting them down.

The saw effectively cut half inch steel from a steel rod, without having to use expensive tools. It is slower than, for example, a bolt cutter at higher cost. It is useful for small jobs around the house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use I like that you can use any blade from a reciprocating saw and blade swap is very easy. The grip is comfortable and fits nice in hand. Very handy and portable thanks to the folding of the blade.
