This grinder is the best for the price. 5 year warranty. Side power button. Tooless adjustable guard. Grippable size. Strong side handle. Ergonomic wheel lock. I haven't needed to use the spanner wrench to remove any discs. I couldn't be happier with the performance. I wouldn't have been able to build my welding cart without it. Doesn't come with any discs, but not fair to fault the product for something it clearly states on the box. So don't forget your cutting disc or whatnot. Cheers

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 3forfred First but won't be last Milwaukee tool.
We're in the process of cutting down some old steel shipping carts to repurpose for our kids' marching band. My old grinder died on the job while using a cutting wheel. I've got a friend who swears by Milwaukee so I bought this grinder to replace mine.
This is one solid piece of equipment. The handle is small enough to hold comfortably and not tire out too quickly. The 7 amp motor has all the power you'd ever need and I was unable to bog this down. I especially like the toolless adjustable guard. Once it's on it's really easy to move around to accommodate the cutting angle.
Again, one great, solid, comfortable tool to use. Would recommend to anyone.

I recently needed to replace a grinder I had been using for the past 20 years. It finally died with an impressive squeal and huge puff of smoke. I do not make a living using power tools but use them frequently on different projects from auto work to cutting concrete and rebar. I chose this particular grinder based on price and amps. It finished my curreent project, cutting anchor bolts and concrete, without any hiccups whatsoever. Using the right wheel, whether it is cutting or grinding, this little grinder makes easy work of basically all tasks you ask it to do. I am really pleased with this grinder so far. I am expecting this to last many years. I have used this grinder for about 2 months and have put it through its paces. I will update this post if anything goes horribly wrong, but I don't expect it.........

I am a duct mechanic who needs to be able to cut spiral pipe and threaded rod in a precise and timely manner on the job site. I purchased this power tool recently and it has made my life so much easier at work! Cuts with ease and isn't too loud.

I bought this grinder to use on a trailer rebuilding project and to use on various other things as they come up. I used it for everything from cutting welds and steel to cleaning up welds and grinding/sanding my 16' lowboy trailer. After using it for several hours on end in 100* weather 3 days in a row, I never once had a single issue with it overheating and it NEVER missed a beat.
The 7.5 amp motor has plenty of power and the tool free adjustable guard makes it VERY easy to move it in no time as you need. I also bought a cheap $9 Husky tool bag to keep it in along with my assortment of wheels.
Without a doubt, if you need a grinder for occasional use and projects, you really can't beat this grinder for only $60 and not to mention the 5 year warranty from Milwaukee - Nobody else has that kind of a backing!
Short story long... GREAT grinder!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Constancy Kept it's Cool
I bought this grinder when my cheapo grinder started smoking and burned up. So far, after a couple hours of sanding it has kept it's cool and works well. Only time will tell if it holds up; which I do not have doubts it will. The three year warranty is nice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Roger I great tool for the cost
This product works well I put an average of 4 hours a day on it grinding and sanding down studs. The compact size handles well and great for tight spaces.
